Undercover tourist ticket question

I'm purchasing 10 day hoppers. The eticket option is about 500 less than physical paper tickets. Anyone know why that might be?

Are you sure you are comparing the same thing? It sounds more like the hard-ticket price might include the “Flexible date” option.

I am, I'm pretty sure. There are two options. Physical and electronic. When I select electronic it is one price and when I select physical ticket, it is 500 higher.

There is no difference in price at UT for eTickets vs. hard tickets.
There is an error somewhere.

I just checked the UT site for a (typical date) adult 10-day PH.
It looks like they have some kind of error when you reach the totals page.
The price (incorrectly) jumps up by well over a hundred dollars when you click back to the "mailed to you" price from the (correct) eTicket price listing.

AND- just to show how wrong that UT price is...
The price listed for the UT "mailed to you" 10-day PH ticket is MUCH HIGHER than simply ordering the same ticket from Disney,

The UT site has got some problems.

I just called and the confirmed that there is some kind of error. They are escalating it to their IT department and asked me to check back tomorrow morning.

I'm so glad I noticed and checked! $500 is a big difference!
