Undercover tourist question

We are buying 7 day tickets (mailed because they are refundable). Are we able to upgrade those tickets to 10 days? Would we do that through undercover tourist or do we wait until we get to the park?

I would contact undercover tourist to do it. If you wait until you get to the park you won’t be able to make park reservations before hand. If they are still requiring park reservations.
Disney tickets will also cost more.

You should be able to add the extra days through MDE. Just be aware that once you do so, it will negate any "refundable" status with **.
I have undercover tourist tickets on my Disney Experience right now and there is no option to change them. I think that is only for tickets bought from Disney. I may be wrong. Even if you could you wouldn’t get the discount Undercover Tourist gives.
I would not add them to MDE because you need to mail them back unused to get them upgraded.

Weird, I hadn't seen that anything had changed in regards to being able to change their tickets in the app. That's typically an option as once they are linked they function just like any other ticket. I haven't personally tried since last February when I was able to do it no problem, and I have seen others do it more recently than that.

Chalk it up to an MDE glitch - some folks are able to change tickets in MDE and some aren't, doesn't seem to matter how the tickets were originally purchased.

Oh wait I bet I know why I don’t have an option to change. I have the special discounted priced 4 park magic ticket, it’s no longer available. Do you think that’s why? I guess it depends on the type of tickets.
Anyway they would still save some money returning them to undercover for the discounted price.
