Can you use Disney gift cards? I assume you cannot so is there a benefit to buying from UT instead of buying gift cards from Target with a Target CC and getting the 5% off? Also, do you get 2% back on your Disney CC if you order through UT?

No, UT is not Disney, so you cannot use Disney gift cards or get extra back for purchasing through them with Disney Visa. You will have to do the math yourself as to whether the Target 5% off is better than the UT price for your particular ticket price. Remember the Disney listed prices may not include tax, while the UT listed prices do. Also, you would get the usual 1% back for buying with a CC at UT, so the Target difference would be only 4%.

UT isn't related to Disney, so you only get normal cash back if your purchase through them. They don't take Disney Gift cards either. You would need to run the numbers to see if it makes sense for the tickets you need. But for instance, a 10 day MYW ticket (no hopping, no WP&M) costs $426 w/tax inc at the gate, for $413.10 from UT, a savings of approx $12. But if you can save 5% off your Disney Gift cards, then you should in theory be able to save $21.30 off that same 10 day ticket. Obviously as the savings at UT vary, and you may get cash back with a CC of your choosing, results may vary. Some people report having luck loading those Disney Gift cards into a Disney Savings Account getting a bonus from that, and thusly "saving" more money. Results will vary, run the numbers yourself.
