Underage partying?

Hey guys, quick question. I'm underage not a huge partier by any means, but from what I hear, it's definitely a prominent thing in the CP. So I was wondering if I would feel super left out if I weren't willing to go to parties or are there just as many people who aren't into the party scene either?

No, you are not alone! I'm one of the people who don't like to party as well. I prefer small theme-like parties and movie nights. If you don't like heavy partying, stay away from the Commons (where the craziest parties happen) and Vista Way (a lot of parties and where most of the underage drinking happens). In both my programs, I'd stayed at Chatham and Patterson and I had never came across a huge party in either complex. Yes, there might be one or two, but you have to be close to the apartment to actually noticed it. I'd never went to a party and tended to go out with my friends or stay at the apartment and watch movies with my roomies.

I'm not a partier at all I went to ONE during my program, and didn't touch a drink...
I did as piratechick did, hung out with friends, small theme nights, hanging out in the parks. Exploring central Florida.
And it was amazingly fun. I wouldn't change a thing.
So no you won't feel left out, just find the people who aren't big party/drinkers

You're not CP material. Clearly.

NOT true.

I didn't go to one "party" my whole program. And you know what? I still made my two best friends and went out almost every day and had awesome times.

Im so glad im over 21, and can just go to epcot or jellyrolls for all of my drinking fun. ;)

I'm not a partier either and I'm wondering how to handle parties. Since I don't party and don't plan on underage drinking because the CP is too important to me, I'm just hoping none of my roommates try to have a party in our apartment because I think that would lead to an awkward situation. Tell and have them all hate me or risk my own neck for something I didn't want?

I'd say it it's possible just try your best not to be there if it happens for starters, if that fails, don't be afraid to rat people out if necessary.
Or early on just let them know you're willing to rat people out rather than be termed.

Good solution. As far as trying to not be there during it, I don't even think that's fair. LOL. I'm not gonna be forced out of my apartment because some people want to break rules that night. I think it's a good idea to let them know up front though so thanks!
