Under Cover Tourist Tickets

Hey All,

I'm looking at buying some Disney tickets and am considering getting them from undercover tourist to save a little money. Since I have never done this, I have a few questions. I will need 7 day single park tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids.

1) Is UCT the cheapest tickets out there or are there better deals?
2) Any concerns with buying tickets from someone other than Disney directly?
3) Since I have to wait for the tickets to be shipped, can I pick my FP+s without them or do I not even need to link them to my reservation to book FP+s?
4) Anything else I should know?

Thanks for the education.

UT is often a great choice for buying discount tickets and you should have no concerns purchasing from them. I'm not sure of the answers to your other questions.

You can get the ticket numbers from UT and enter those into MDE to make your FP+ reservations if you need to do that due to the timing. But they ship very quickly, so that may not be necessary. And yes, you have to link tickets to MDE before you can make FP reservations.

I have used UT many times & have always been pleased with them. Each time I have found it to be the cheapest ticket option. If you go in using the mousesavers newsletter link you are assured the best UT price. While shopping other places for prices take into consideration that UT already has the tax built in & is free shipping so the price you see is actually what you are paying.

Thanks all.

And just to confirm I understand the latest and greatest rules around FP+ (I used it last when it was in testing), you can make FP+s up to 60 days prior AND you get 3 FP+s per day? Is that still how it works? Is there an updated list somewhere of what rides take FP+?

Also, will normal FPs be around by May or will they be gone (or are they completely gone arleady)?

Answers to all these questions can be found via the green link in my signature.

So I just called UT and the lady I spoke to said I have to wait until my tickets arrive before I can get the ticket numbers. Was she simply mistaken or do they no longer give you the ticket numbers ahead of time?

I got UCT tickets recently and I called and they sent me a picture of the back of my tickets. You can't get the picture until the tickets ship but it was about 5 days before we got the tickets in the mail.

You will need your tickets to link them to MDE. I did it-- was easy peasy/

you get to pick FP 60 days ahead of time--IF you are staying onsite.

I used UCT for a 5 day park pass- no hopper and saved 27.00 per ticket

One follow-up question. We're likely going to purchase a 7 day MYW ticket from UT. However, it's possible we may end up going 8 days to the parks. If so, can you add on additional days to UT tickets at the discounted rate like you can with MYW tickets purchased from Disney?

anyone have experience with Official ticket center to get their tickets? TP is recommending them for tickets but a little worried because I have always used UT.

I wondering about a similar thing with UTC tix, can I add a water park feature on once there and how does that work? Only going for 4.5 days, just not sure we can/want to squeeze in an afternoon at TL but gate price is expensive!

Yes, but you MUST go into at least one park first, and you MUST upgrade them no later than your last day.

- If you upgrade before using the ticket (go into at least one park), WDW will charge you the difference, and you lose your UT discount.

- If you wait until after you have used all the days on your ticket, you can't upgrade at all.

Hint: If you go to DisneyQuest, a waterpark, or Downtown Disney, the lines for Guest Services are much shorter (for the upgrade) than at the parks.

I saw that TP post, and compared the prices they listed for Official Ticket Center to what UT was offering via the Mousesavers discount - UT was $15 cheaper per ticket for my tickets. TP did not take the Mousesavers discount into account when they did their comparison.
