Ok, catchy title uh, but i thougt it fits because i am now speaking upa dn i want to know who will speak up with me. I love Disney we visit everything but the water parks and Epcot-it's just not our thing, on our next trip we will be doing BG for the first time also, and yes we do love Seaworld. BUT I have so much more fun when we visit US/IOA, Who else will not be afraid to admit this? I love, so love this theme park, for me it would be first and Disney parks would be second. I love them all though but US/IOA a tiny bit more....

Who else? Don't leave me hangin-don't be afraid.

:thumbsup2 I"m in!!! Now get me BAILED OUT!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: WE love US/IOA tooo i admit it i am a hulk junkie...and while i am at it i like the backwater bar also..... :cool1: :cool1:

Although we like Disney, we are also Universal lovers. There, I said it. We always isit Disney but out of a fortnight holiday, we spend maybe 3 or 4 days there. The rest of the time is spent at Universal/IOA and Sea World amongst other things.

Haaaat-ed it. :teeth: We went a couple of years ago and while I loved the perks of staying at the Hard Rock and getting front of the line, I wasn't really into either park. I'm not the adventurous type so didn't like IOA and I thought US was so lame. Went many years ago in California when they had the tram and thought it was soooo much better. That said, my kids loved it and rode Back to the Future a dozen times. I do really enjoy Citywalk though.

We love Sea World and The Disney water parks and Epcot, as we do all the Disney parks. Probably MGM is our least fav- (or the Studios as it is called now).

Haven't been to BG yet but going this year.

Jenn

my kids have said no more disney, so we have been just been doing sea world and universal!!! I have to admit, its really much more relaxing!

for me even though i love US/IOA there is something about disney, there is magic there and even though we don't spend all our days there we still visit, we do one day to AK, 1 day to MGM and 2 days for MK, then we do like a week at US/IOA, i day at seaworld and 2 days at BG this year

We were Disney for many years. We found a fresh new enjoyment when our daughter was born and we got to see Disney again through her young eyes. But it didn't last long. We found she enjoyed Universal more with all the kiddie water and activity areas. When she got to 7 or so there was another short shift back to Disney but that got replaced again with IOA opened. Now she demands an annual Universal pass and has little interest in Disney parks. We can't even interest her in Disneyland this month when we are in CA. But she wants to see Universal! It seems Universal has won the younger crowds and I'll admit I prefer it as well as I like the layout and ease of parking much better than the long trips around Disney just to reach things. I guess we're Universal people now.

i have to say i love Sea World more.......but that's just my love for marine life coming out lol. but i enjoy all of the parks, but Disney just a smidge more cuz the CM's are a tad nicer than at the other parks. but i LOVE IOA just about as much as Disney. US comes in last i think

LOVE US/IOA!!! I wish we had time for it this trip, but we didn't add it in...Next time ;)

ALL Disney this time though---Can't WAIT! And I leave in........3 hrs and 48 minutes---I need to go sleep for abit...But I am TOOOO Excited!

I for one thinks universal sucks..........If I want to see wads of gum on the walls in the waiting areas and rude employees I'll just drive twenty minutes to Six Flags. Sea World is nice as are Bothe Bush Gardens Parks but they are not Disney...Just My Opinion

DITTO, DITTO BIG DITTO pirate: Except we loved Studios and are not going to BG this year. to each his own. :3dglasses

I love Universal and am planning to go back in 28 days :hourglass . Our trip last year confirmed it for me. No more Disney. We went to the Magic Kingdom and got on two rides and saw a parade. At the parade every one was so concerned on getting a seat that I was pushed and fell with my 1 year old in my arms. I was on the ground for several minutes while everyone walked around me and no one tried to help me up. My husband who was several rows of people behind couldn't get through the crowd to get to me. Too crazy. I was so embarrased and couldn't believe what happened. We were staying at the Animal Kingdom conceirge level. It was the same feel there too. Everyone crowding in the get the food when it came out. I tried to get a milk for my son after it closed no help from anyone. No pixie dust for me. Also had to wait an extra hour for our room. Again wait wait wait for everything. I guess I am not aggresive enough. Am I the only one that feels this way??

Then we go to Universal, Hard Rock Hotel got us a room at 10:00am and we go to the parks, Front of Line Access, walk on EVERY ride and attraction. It was wonderful. My husband still wants to give Disney a try especially MGM to see the new stunt show but as far as I am concerned I could take it or leave at least until the kids are older and do not mind waiting in long lines. I was such a Disney fan for so long but I guess I do not have the patience anymore. :guilty:

Well I guess I needed to get that off my chest. I didn't realize how strongly I felt about this until now.

Thanks HappyLawyer for your post I really needed it. :thumbsup2

Anytime, no problem

I am not real thrilled about Universal or IOA. I have three small children and they can't ride most of the rides. Maybe in a couple of years we will try again but for now we stick to what we love DISNEY.

We are a family at War here. Me and the 2 oldest Princess in training love Disney. However the Hubby and the 1 fellow love US?/IOA. So we must do both parks. I must admit that at Universal we can go off peak and do practically everything in about 6 hrs. We love the more thrill adventure and the animated 4-D feel of Universal. But a trip would not be a trip until we see the Magic Kingdom. I have to admit my kids ONLY like MK and the other parks they always ask when are we going to MK so for now we are simple and plain. I think my hubby would overdose on the sachrinney sweetness of Disney if he had to endure it all day everyday. The characters at Disney do not excite my little man but let him go over to Universal and see Spiderman or any of the X-men character then his day is made. SO we are glad that in Orlando that their is something for everyone.

There is one secton that just for kids, it has free games, and water that falls onto the ocncrete the kids love it. It was worth it to me, i sat like 5 hours and let the kdis just play in the water they had the best time. I do know how you feel when the kids cannot ride but at least with all the choices of the different theme parks we can each find the one we love best
