Sept 3-10. Stayed at PC. Brought breakfast items with us (we drove). me-36, DW-32, DS-just turned 2.
Fri/9-3 Arrived early due to Frances, had PS for Ohana for Sat.,
went today instead. Had no PS-no problem. Place was
dead. Only about 8 kids for the coconut race. As usual
everything good, but they switched one of the sauces on
the lazy susan since our last visit.
dessert PC food court
I had to get the Twinkie Tiramisu, glad I did. DW got a
chocolate chip muffin which she said was good.
Sat/9-4 lunch PC food court (Frances)
Lines were very long. Because of DS, we could not wait
seperately in different lines so we were stuck getting
items from the same line. DW had cheesesteak wrap
which she said was good, I had an ok double
cheeseburger.
dinner PC food court (Frances)
Again very long lines. We decided on the pizza. They ran
out of large (Frances lockdown looming), so we went with
2 pepperoni and 1 cheese personal size pizzas. Their
pizza wasn't bad, we'd get it again in a future visit.
Sun/9-5 lunch in hotel room (Frances)
We packed PB & J with us because DS doesn't eat much.
All 3 of us had it for lunch plus some chips, cookies and
candybars we had.
dinner PC food court
Food court was ready to go with hot food at 5PM after
the Frances closure. Again very long lines. We got an
order of chicken tenders and another cheeseburger and
split it between us. Everything was just ok again.

After hanging out in the lobby, everything Pop and the
food court for awhile (cooped up all day because of
Frances) we got Tie-Dyed Cheesecake (me) and Peanut
Butter Cake (DW). Both were very good. Luckily for us
DS wasn't interested in our desserts he was playing with
other kids releasing some pent-up energy.
Mon/9-6 lunch Garden Grill
We were in the Land at 11:45 so we thought let's try it.
We had no PS, it did not matter. I heard a CM tell
someone else they had almost no PS's for the day.
Normally we eat counter and sit-down meals in WS, but
this place was good. Like Ohana, DW and I liked it for
different reasons. Me-flank steak and catfish, DW-
veggies and DS's mac-n-cheese. Mickey, Chip, Dale and
Pluto came by about 4-5 times each.
dinner Electric Umbrella
Like lunch, we found ourselves in FW at dinnertime.
Never had eaten here either. Me-roast beef and swiss
sandwich and DW-ham and cheese. Both of our
sandwiches were very good. Cannot remember the
exact flavors, but both were jazzed up with their own
sauce. Didn't know they had a topping bar-nice surprise.
Tue/9-7 lunch ABC Commissary
Had PS at Boma, so we only did counter service. Both of
us had the Cuban sandwich, pretty good. We ordered DS
child's portion nuggets.

I think I like it here more than Ohana. A benefit here is
the nice dessert selection included. Again DW and I liked
it for diiferent reasons. Me-flank steak, prime rib. Her-
some of the salads. We both loved the desserts. DS ate
the most here our entire trip. Plain meatballs picked from
the spaghetti noodles, chicken tenders, flatbread and
another kind of bread.
Wed/9-8 lunch Crystal Palace
Another very good meal. We had a nice spot on the
window close to the center of the room. DS was
having fun keeping track of Pooh & Friends whereabouts
the entire lunch. Characters came by 6+ times.
dinner Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
Yes! We had ice cream for dinner. (DS had a packed
PB & J). We both had a hot fudge sundae with Nestle
cookie swirl ice cream in a waffle cone bowl. Hit the
spot. Very good.
Thu/9-9 breakfast Donald's Breakfastosaurus
We wanted to make sure to see Donald so we
scheduled this. Typical breakfast buffet type food.
Nothing out of the ordinary or specially flavored like
the other buffet/family-style lunches and dinners we
had been having. The one different item I guess was the
chocolate chip pancakes. Characters came by twice.
lunch Flame Tree BBQ & Chakranadi Chicken Shop
DS was napping, we were camped out in a shady spot so
I got us lunch to go and brought it back to our bench.
I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad at FT, very good-I finished
every last bit of lettuce. Normally I'm picky about lettuce
but theirs was good, quality pieces. DW got a asian
noodle salad with shrimp from CCS. She said it was okay
but there was too much celery.
dinner Beaches & Cream
Both of us got the cheeseburgers. Very good, a lot better
than the food court at PC. We split a Milky Way sundae.
After having ice cream for dinner at MK in the heat of
the outdoors and knowing how fast it did not melt we
were disappointed here because when our Milky Way
arrived at our table it was almost all melted. Both of us
remember about only 3 bites of ice cream.
Fri/9-10 lunch Leaning Palms TL
DW had been hungry for a hot dog all week and finally
got one. She said it was good. It sure was big. They
had a pulled BBQ pork sandwich, one of my favorites.
It was juicy with sauce and not dry like some you get.
dinner Chef Mickey's
We thought this would be a nice dinner to wrap our
trip up. It was. DS enjoyed it. Food was good. Desserts
were good. Waiter was good. Only thing not good was
out of control kids that if were ours would taken outside
and not been allowed to interrupt other diners.
Charcaters came by about 3-4 times, except for Goofy
who we only saw once.
