Great cake! I hear you on the MI property taxes. Every year when I look at our taxes my tummy hurts! I think they should come reassess mine because I bet it has gone down in this lovely MI economy! But I bet they would never do that.

BTW - I did my pool and basement with no permit. oops!

Good job on not getting permits.....its a joke, just a money grab.....I am going to add a 3rd parking spot along the driveway and add a patio at the base of the deck....all without permits.....The city told me they would increase my taxes for building a shed over 10X10.....I'm building one that is
12X16...Come and get me.........I will start the basement this winter.....I'm putting blinds up over my basement windows.....

I am getting suitcases out today......start packing the little things.....

Oh, and of course I have to start deciding what shoes to take!!!

I NEED THIS VACATION!!!! Been working too many hours....8 hrs work, 3-4 hrs construction in the evenings.....I spent 8 hours yesterday at my Moms house putting in a new front door for her......
Running kids everywhere......of course my son gets a new girlfriend who lives 16 miles away....


WOOOO HOOOO I did get a better deal on my renal car!!! Was booked at $139 for 6 days/Alamo....using some codes I am now booked for the same car at $89 with Alamo.......it pays to shop and keep checking those rates!!!!

I hope everyone has a great Sunday, I am playing in a softball tourn.
I will be wore out later today.......glad I have the hot tub up and running!!!

DW went to the casino/ huge outlet mall with her friends for the weekend..........girls weekend!!!! Only thing I want to know, how much did you charge????

Of course my belts have to match the dress shoes!!!Exact color and texture of leather.......(LOVE your sis just rolls her eyes)

The shoes arent even the bad thing......it's my Adidas hats I have to have with me.......at least 6-7 of those........I also will have to bring a Detroit Tigers hat and a Titleist hat too!!!!!

Dw just bought me a couple of new white Adidas T-shirts while she was gone shopping for the weekend!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO I got 2 shirts....everyone else got 10 times as much as me.....she always throws the old dog a bone!!!

I told her next time she goes shopping pick me up one of them there
Holley-ster shirts fer me!!!!!! I cant go in that store.....everyone recognizes me as being the guy on the huge photo out front.......it causes a scene....very embarrassing.....

I am typing up my itinerary tonight.......I make several copies for us....Also give one to my mom and Love's other sister.....with flight numbers, phone number to hotels etc. I have to make a bogus one for DW on the hotel info.!!!!! She hasnt said much about POP so I think she is on to me.....I told her I have a few surprises for her!!!!!

DW and I cant wait......we are ready!!!!


We do have a slight (OK HUGE) problem here.....
UJ didnt have the chemicals right in the hot tub.....Momma came down with some sort of skin disease....(she has had it before)...she has red dots all over her......it is not good, she is in pain....on meds and ointment.....I just hope it is gone before our trip......probably wont be gone, but hopefully not as bad as it is now......reminds me of when I get poison ivy.....

It is called veticulitus (SP?)..........I call it funk-u-litus......
