Unclaimed lottery win

Last Friday the expiration ran out on a $100,000 winner. The person who holds this ticket can no longer claim the money.

Do you ever get a nagging feeling when that happens? You wonder if somewhere, hiding in the bottom of your purse, there's a ticket you forgot to check.

I'm in Minnesota but I don't remember if the unclaimed win was for a scratch off type ticket or a powerball...the kind you pick your own numbers for.

I subscribe to www.megamillions.com They send an email of the winning #s after each drawing. Also tells you how many winning tickets there are at each level & what states the mega jackpot and the $175,000 tickets were sold in. I only play occassionally so this helps remind me to check - that & no one from my state ever wins. I'd love to see a comparison of the % of players from my state to the % of winners from my state.
