Unbelievable.....?

This weekend my family all traveled to Maine for my DNiece's h.s. Graduation.
We stayed at a lovely hotel. My Mom and Dad have a lovely "summer" home right there but not big enough for everyone to stay so I decided my immediate family would stay in a hotel.
The hotel was so nice. We really enjoyed our stay. I went to check out and tell the owners that it was lovely and booked again for July 4th weekend.
They were so glad we liked it and we paid our bill and left. We had driven two cars up as my oldest DS brought his DGF and then DH and I and youngest DS in the other car. As I am exiting the OFFICE, my DS says to me..."Mom, do you have a note on your car?" and sure enough I did as did he.
His note said.."Please in the future learn to park between the lines, Thank you the Complaint Dept."....my note said..."Next time you decide to stay in a hotel, please be MUCH quieter..you were very loud and that is rude!"

WELL I WAS MORITFIED. I took the notes back into the OFFICE and everyone came to analyze them. I explained that my DS' car is exactly in the lines and they saw that and that we were GONE all day Sunday and returned to the hotel at 11pm and all went directly to bed. They felt TERRIBLE. They apologized and said they have NO Complaint Dept. even at the hotel.

I just gave them the notes and left to drive over to Mom's home. Everyone was packing up and getting ready to say their goodbyes after an action packed weekend. My parents and sisters were all there pouring coffee and said "how was your night?"....well, fine until this morning with NOTES left on our car. And they are saying..."what do you mean?"! I explained the notes and how I took them right back into the office and showed the onwers and how badly the owners felt etc etc.....................MY mom and sisters start SCREAMING.................!!!!!!!!!

It was MY MOTHER and TWO OF MY SISTERS. They came over to to the hotel and left the notes BUT disguised their handwriting. I WAS SHOCKED!!
They are now on the floor laughing so hard and I am feeling like a JERK. I immediately called the hotel and explained it was my CRAZY family. They all laughed and felt better IMMEDIATELY. My mom said she would actually drive over herself later and apologize.
A few minutes later DS shows up with DGF(and we all go shhhh) and he explains to all of us that this was NO BIG DEAL as it "was some 7 year old little girl running around with a notepad and pen and nothing better to do but leave notes on people's cars"....NOW I AM SCREAMING AND LAUGHING and DS is so confused UNTIL WE TELL HIM....

When I started to read this thread I figured it was a family memeber or friend right away. That is so something my friends and I do to each other! Makes life fun and always good for smile!

Well that is exactly what my mom and sis' kept saying..."You did not recognize sis' handwriting?".....NO, she had disguised it so good.

My youngest son kept saying..."Mom, you got PUNK'D!!!"

OP here: Thanks everyone...yes, we are a wild bunch!! Anyway, we are all going back to Maine for July 4th and I wish I could think of something random for those TWO sis'....

They both have new cars...one a camry and one a avalon...wish I could find like a "fake dent" to adhere to their precious vehicles ....hahaha...that would really throw them for a loop !!!

I am happy that you're happy but frankly, I don't see the humour in upsetting people, even if only for a short time. I don't find this funny and don't enjoy getting punk'ed (I don't like Ashton Kucher either). I just don't get it.

What about those sticker thingies that make it look like a cracked windshield or a bullet hole? It might throw them for a loop for a little while anyway.

Sounds like something my husband would do!

He got ahold of some computer software, where you can record a sentence, and then play it as a "computer generated voice".

He did that and then called me, held the phone (a number I didn't recognize) to the computer and played it. It said, "Your bank account is overdrawn $2,500. Please call (insert name of bank here) at (insert number here) immediately to resolve this critical problem."

I freaked out and called him instantly. It wasn't until he and all the firefighters in the room with him started cracking up laughing that I got pissed. I felt like an idiot.

To this day, he still calls me using that stupid voice, but he knows better now and usually it'll be telling that I'm great and how much he loves me.

Try an Auto parts store! They sell those sticker thingies that look like a bullet hole, maybe they also have the one that looks like a dent?
I have seen cars in traffic with those balls on the back window that look like a baseball broke through the glass and is stuck there with cracked glass all around it. Maybe that would work for you.
