unbelievable hold times for PS reservations!

I'm STILL on hold 1 hr later...

I was on hold for about 30 minutes before I got 1900 Park Fare for Thanksgiving dinner. At least todays wait was less than yesterday and I am finished with my PS's..

DH was on hold for 90 minutes. We got Chef Mickey's for 4:15. We wanted 3:00, but this is OK.

I got my Turkey Day PS's too this morning. I called a few minutes prior and kept getting the "closed" message and then was on hold for 12 minutes till I got through.

I got Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch at 11am and Chef Mickey's for Dinner at 8pm. Woo hoo! Exactly what I was asking for!

I am in PS hell! I am now approaching the 3 hour mark. I've been waiting to long to give up now!

3 hours??? Oh my gosh!!! I didnt wait quite that long, but I sure wish I had that toll free number this morning!!!! I woke up at 6:50 and started dialing.. they were closed until about 6:58... then i kept getting the 'all circuits are busy' message for over 5 minutes. I finally connected, thinking I had more than enough time before DD had to go to the bus stop. WRONG.. after 20 minutes, I hung up to take her to the bus. Came home at 725 and repeated the process... 10 minutes of busy signals, and then waiting... I figured I would surely get answered by 8:05 when DD #2 had to get taken to her bus. WRONG AGAIN. I told her at 8 am, that I would just drive her to school today, that Disney just HAD to answer soon... wrong yet again. I was holding until 8:30 and had to hang up again to drive her to school. I got back at 9:00, to repeat the process for the third time. This time though, I got right through without a busy signal and without being on hold for even 10 seconds!!!!!! sheesh!! It probably cost me the price of a kids meal to be on hold! But now I see my wait wasnt even close to some of you! That is just insane..

I was on hold 1 hour this morn to get our T-day ressies at Garden Grill...my kids figure Epcot will be less crowded than MK.

I had just written down instructions for my 14 yo DS to take over as I had to drive 5 kids to band practice this morn at 9:30...just in time they came thru & talked to me.

My DS was VERY happy not to have to do it himself...but after being on hold for 1 hour I was NOT giving up the line.

I called the 800 # at about 8 am.

But I also agree with other posters that we have a large amily 2 adults & 6 kids...with a large group we have to have ressies!

No walkins with that big a crowd anywhere! So I've been up early all week.

Started calling at 6:58AM this morning via toll free number (thanks again!!) and got through right away--but had an hour and a half wait hold again this morning. Ugh. But I did get my first choice, which was Calif grille for 7 of us. They said it was $23.99 per adult, which is actually less than I was led to believe. We got first choice time at 5:30PM. No other ps that day, figure we would just pick up counter service somewhere and pig out for dinner. It was a hassle but I'm glad I got what I wanted!

Thank goodness I only have one day left of this!! Tomorrow making res. for scifi (my kids will love it) and Boma for dinner. Then all I have to do is buy tickets at disney store and order Kennedy space center tickets and I AM DONE!!

I called four days in a row and was on hold a minimum of 30 minutes and maximum of over 1 hour. I asked and the reply I received was that the computer system was overhauled over the last weekend and things weren't "quite right with it" yet.

As for the Thanksgiving meals -- if you can do a late lunch 1:00 - 2:00 for example -- you will better luck. We got 5 at Cinderella's Royal Table with no problem -- as a matter of fact we were given a choice of 4 or 5 times during the lunch time period. I figure we can eat early and then enjoy the parks while eveyone else is cramming into the restaurants at dinner time.
