Unable to Watch Podcast Videos on Kindle Fire HD Question, Please.

Sorry in advance as far as not knowing where to ask (what forum to post) this, and not even knowing if all the nice tech-people have anything to do or say about it.

I'll try and be short and quick. Have had an original Kindle Fire for over a year, and have very much enjoyed being able to watch the team podcast since it changed from audio only.
Felt very lucky to get a new Kindle 7"-HD couple months back, but don't seem to be able to watch the streaming (recorded) video of the wonderful shows however can still watch them on my original Kindle Fire.
I thought it may have to do with FLASH? but neither Kindle seem to have flash, although original has flash-activation checked and the HD has something different, but that's checked, too.
I don't think Ipads have flash,, and I think(?) my Apple friends are able to watch, so I still think it's just my device or what I'm doing...

So long story short, any advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Well, tried it again this morning and it's working. Have no idea what's changed, I haven't done anything differently, so I guess it all comes back to the magical Disboards.

Reminds me that many, many years ago my stereo stopped working so I took it to the repair shop to drop off. They turned it on an, of course it worked perfectly (and never, ever had another problem with it). I apologized to the owner for taking his time needlessly, but he said no problem, and that I'd be surprised how many stereos were 'magically' fixed just by people driving into his parking lot!
I thought that was pretty funny, but you guys have him beat. No driving necessary for me this time, simply posting my issue has fixed my problem! Magical!

I have the larger Kindle Fire HD and to watch the podcast I have to go to Youtube and look it up. I can't click on the video from the Disboards podcast page. If I do it just loads and loads. But I can watch from Youtube, so it's fine. Which way do you watch it?

I really wasn't aware of trying through Youtube, so I just kept watching through the podcast page on my old, 'original' Kindle Fire.

On my HD, like you, when I tried to watch on the pod-page, it just kept trying to load but never did....until yesterday morning, that is, and now it's working every try, no problem.

I did read somewhere to make sure, under Web, then settings, that the box is checked for 'Prompt for experimental streaming viewer', which I did, but it was checked already. I did uncheck it, then rechecked it, but I'm not sure that had or has anything to do with it.

My original impression, like I mentioned, was that it had to do with FLASH, or lack of, but I'm not fluent in Geek so I guess I really should just say that I have no clue.
