Unable to register online to purchase tickets

Hello! In order to purchase the two-day park hopper, one must first register online.

As far as I can tell, I am doing everything correctly, but the Disney system will not accept my attempt to register. The registration screen returns with a message that says "Sorry, there's been an error in your registration". But it doesn't give a clue about what the error is or how to correct it.

I have written to the "Contact Us" area on the site, but have had no reply.

I Just want to buy tickets online!

Any ideas about what I may be doing wrong?

Hi and welcome to the DIS!
Can you provide the website that you are trying to buy tickets from? Also, have you tried to purchase tickets from wholesalers, like Maple leaf tickets or ticketmania? If you are trying to buy directly from Disney, the wholesalers are cheaper.

I entered my birthdate, which was accepted, then filled in all the required fields on the next page. But the registration wouldn't accept.

Well, I do not know what the problem could be....and also have never purchsed tickets for Disneyland.
But, here is a suggestion....
Go onto to Mousesavers and Mary has a great list of places where you can get discount Disneyland tickets.

Mary is wonderful and has spent countless hours preparing these web pages. I find that most of the information that I need I can find on this site or on Mary's.
Good luck...hope you can get the tickets.
Oh, and PS - make sure you buy tickets before the end of the year because pass prices are going up effective January 1, plus, tickets never expire.
