Unable to Purchase OTUPs for next UY after having Membership Magic Beyond

I have not personally reserved a 2026 date with MMB OTUPs, but you are correct in your thinking.

You can buy right now with the 2025 MMB calendar year program and put the placeholder reservation in your 2025 Sept UY. The OTUP will be valid for your Sept 2025 UY ranging from 9/1/25 - 8/31/26 during the 7-month window.

You could even make the placeholder reservation for Jan 2026 now and then cancel and wait for April to hit the 7-month window.

Following up for confirmation: so if I purchased 12+12 for a Sept. 2025 trip, I should be able purchase points again for a May 2026 trip? I have 2 memberships, but the relevant membership has a Feb UY.

You can purchase OTU points for a May 2026 trip since it’s in your 2026 UY and you purchased your current ones for a trip in your 2025 UY

However, those points will be full price since your already used your MMB benefit.

If MMB comes back for 2026, with this same benefit, and you purchase it, then you can buy them beginning January 1st for that trip.
