Unable to make day of fastpasses with APs?

So I'm on the plane on my way to WDW right now. We'll be at Studios in a few hours and it seems they lost the fastpasses we made for today. Tonight we are staying off property and then tomorrow starts a 6 night stay at the Poly. I'm trying to book some FPs for later in the day but it says we have reached our limit of days-except we're AP holders and they're 100% nowhere near being expired. Anyone else encounter this? Can't really call Disney tech from the plane and I'd prefer not to have to deal with the kiosks. By the time we get there all the good ones will be gone. :( Anyone ever have a similar problem?

AP can book 7 days or length of stay. Do you already have 7 days on site? That might be why...

It sounds like a glitch, especially since it's telling you that you reached your limit. AP holders can only have 7 days (or length of stay if onsite) worth of FP+ at one time.

You could take a chance and cancel a day's FPs later in your trip and see if it lets you schedule for today. Then fix the missing day later.

Yup we do have 7 days of FP+ already, I guess that's why. When we get to studios will we be able to book them at the kiosks and keep our other 7 days?

Well that's kind of a flawed system, considering our stay is exactly 7 days. :( I guess I'll just have to do some rearranging. If it was a non AP holder doing a split stay between offsite and onsite and they had valid tickets for all of those days they'd be able to book day of in park. It seems like we're being punished for being AP holders?

I bet you could cancel a day, book today, and then rebook a day of your trip.

Also - are you sure that today's FPs are lost?

It's not that we're being punished as AP holders, just another Disney rule in regard to FP+. If an AP holder isn't staying onsite they can hold 7 days worth of FP+ at one time, if onsite it's the length of stay. It's a definite pain in the butt. Our trip in May was 10 days long and I had to wait until after day 1 to book day 8's FP+ and day 2 to book day 9's but I was still able to get what we wanted for the times we wanted.
