I just wanted to pop on here and share that I had the privilege of talking with JediJill today. She's a lovely woman, very smart and very much someone I loved talking with and getting to know a bit more.

She and I are shooting for a Dis meet and I couldnt' be more excited about it!!

I truly love getting to know the beautiful spirits here on the Dis.

I looked into a Lands End swimsuit a couple years ago and both that I ordered didn't fit me properly. I should really try again, they have such nice and tasteful suits.

Now look who's blushing!! Such sweet words, thank you Jill. Probably what I love most about meeting people here on the Dis, it truly is like talking with people who are old friends. When you have something in common like we do, (Disney) it shows you a lot about the person right off the bat, puts everyone at ease.

I just hope I do it justice!! Mackie is always trying to get me to let it grow out, but when I got this cut she said she really liked it! Hopefully that means I'm doing it some sort of justice.

This last one has another fabric that would also be really pretty on you, but I think the teal would look really amazing on you.



Read the reviews carefully, that's how I ended up picking a good suit. Enough gals commented on how well it covered their larger than average.....ummm....."girls" and how well it covered other areas on the body (you know the areas that we all want covered after having babies or after turning 30)....OOOH! To have the body of a 25 year old again!! I digress....(story of my life), see! There were enough comments of what it all did for them, that it sold me on it.
Honestly, this suit will work for just about anyone, that's what I loved about it so much, women who were really busty, on average or even smaller had wonderful things to say about it since it's so adjustable, it will accommodate to for just about any body type. Oh, and don't fall for the tummy tucking suit bottom, the one that is shown with the color of suit that I bought is more than enough, sometimes the tummy tucking one's just end up making you look cut off and lumpy, especially if you have any extra fluff in the tummy area, like I do. Hey! You can't have 9 and 10 lb. kids and not expect to have some extra fluff there!
Then again, you may like the bikini bottom (pictured with the black and blue top-which kinda reminds me of the wallpaper in the HM ) which is sooo stinkin cute with this too.

I did have a great time with my family. I don't know if you saw my status on facebook about goodbyes, but it was very sad when they left though because for the first time Alexia lost it when they left. She cried and tried to hide in the truck, she ran down the sidewalk after them and then cried for about 20 more minutes after they left. It was really heartbreaking.

I was still in Oregon this day, but I am back in Texas now for two days. Crazy busy trip, but I loved my grandma time with the Oregon babies. Nothing new here - I was just thinking how close you are to your trip yesterday! We are down to under 90 days!!!

Hello my good Dis'ers!!

I suppose it has been a while since I've done a real update. What' ya do?

This last few weeks before the trip seem to be whizzing by!


Let' see, what have I been up to....

I've been doing a bit of shopping <news flash there> to get the last of the outfits I needed out of the way. Found some pretty cute things that I think will work.



A little bit blurry, but you get the idea, this top is so stinkin cute and totally out of my comfort zone. After wearing dark colors for so long, I'm not use to such bright colors! The brightly colored shorts behind them go with the top. The top is one of those hi-low tops, but it's not too drastic, just enough to be cute.




This next one ^ is one of those tops that has points that come down on both sides, front and back, what do they call that?.....A handkerchief hem!! I got a pair of black shorts to with it. I didn't think I would like either of these shirts (on the hanger) because of how stinkin big everything is now. Ooooof course they would change up the styles once I lost weight!! Everything was fitted and short when I looked like I could eat Manhattan, now they have everything overly sized and loose! Go figure!

It's a really bad picture to show what the style really looks like.
The sleeves are really pretty, flutter sleeves I believe they're called, and I bought shorts that match the teal/green in the top that look just like the bright coral colored shorts you saw in the first outfit/picture.

Not sure how much more clothing shopping I'll end up doing, but there maybe some shoe shopping in the future. I've been thinking about a pair of chaco's, but not too sure just yet, I need to think on it. It's a lot of money to part with so close to the trip.

I've started getting down go to the last details for our park days and how to plan that out. As I was writing out my park plans I decided I needed to go to Walmart to find some colored pens to write them out with, look what I came across!! I found them when I was looking to see if there were any more character stickers I needed for Mackie's autograph book. These are just for me.



Aren't they cute?!? I got some for a friend too, I think she'll really like them.

On a personal front....I've been keeping up with my p.t., it's not been easy to go as long as I have without working out (two solid weeks on the weights so far-it's really been off and on for the last month or better), although I have been hitting my cardio as often as I can get to it in the last week or so.
I'm not losing, well....I'm losing the same 3-4 pounds over and over again (like most people would) but I'm not hitting my 80 lb. goal like I would have liked several weeks ago. Oh well, at least I'm making progress with my p.t. and I suppose that is what is most important right now.
My knees are starting to feel sooo much better, the arms seem to be taking their sweet time (which is why I can't do my weight work outs), but I know God is on the scene and making things happen as I type.

Since the trip is just a few weeks out, I've been looking into my stash of crafts to see what all I have left to get for Mackenzie's autograph book (I usually put it together about a week out from the trip)...



I have tons more stickers for the inside of the book. I make a page for the characters to sign with their sticker on it. The characters loooove it when they see themselves in the book.
I don't know how many more years I can get away with making this for her so I'm taking advantage while I still can.

I went into the Disney store today to see what was new and to find Mackenzie a couple of gifts for the trip.....aaaaand truth be told, I also wanted to check the gift cards I have money on to be sure that was all straight. How scary would it be to get to the parks and find out something went wrong and you don't really have $100 dollars on a card?!?
I found a beach towel I thought Mackie would like and a Merida doll, of course I find out later as we're looking at the Disney site I bought all the wrong one's. Oh darn!! I'll have to go back to the Disney store to shop again. I hope she'll be surprised, she's been asking for the beach towel for the trip (but keep telling her no) and then she surprised me with the request of the Merida doll. Other than Barbie Dolls she never really asked for them as a little girl. I just have to make sure I get the one with the right dress.

I think I'm down to making my garden grocer order, Mackie's autograph book and packing!! Of course as you know there will be lots of little things like sunscreen and that sort of thing that will pop up as the last few weeks play out, but all in all I think we're in pretty good shape!!

Awww, thank you. I'm a bit nervous they're a little too much, and they may be just fine but I'm just use to buying clothes to cover up and not be noticed too much. Who knows, maybe they are too much and I'm still learning to dress myself.
