Umpteenth question, this one about MB

What are the current guidelines for the MB program? Do you have to be on site to qualify, or can that be handled "at home?"

As long as you can puchase at home (there are still some states where that is not possible), you can use magical beginnings without actually being at WDW. For VWL and HH, the current MB program is they buy back up to half your first year points for $10 per and apply that to down payment. At Vero Beach, they will buy back 100% of the first years points at $13 per point.

Good info to know. We lived in Vero Beach for a time, and it's not where I'd especially like to vacation (not being a beach bum). But if you're landlocked and/or from snowy climes, it's definitely worth a peek. Is Vero lagging behind in sales as compared to the rest of DVC?

Vero sales had been lagging (some will say dismal) but have picked up because of the special MB program they have there and the sell-out of OKW and BWV.

I have read reports of being able to sell back all of your 1st year points at 10.00 per point at HH if you buy on site. I will find this out first hand in 10 days.
