UMP Passes for 3 day/2 Night Stay?

When we check into our hotel (Dolphin), it will be during the middle of the day. We are staying 3 days/2 nights (possibly 4 days/3 nights ). Would it be best to get Unlimited Magic Passes (length of stay)? 2 of the 4 people going will go to a water park 1 day or part of 1 day, while the other 2 check out the shopping. Also, 2-3 will be interested in Disney Quest. From what I've read here, the UMP passes are the most inclusive. We wouldn't be staying all day in any park, as we have been to WDW before. If you don't go to the water parks, is another type of ticket a better deal? Thanks!!

...for a short trip like yours, a UMP is your best bet. Maybe not your least EXPENSIVE bet. But with the UMP you will get park hopping priviledges for ANY place at WDW. So if you are interesting in "doing it all" during your visit, I would suggest the UMP.
