Umm...I am in absolute SHOCK, it has been quite the week UPDATE!!!

If a teen mother chooses to raise there child then there also giving themselves a bad life. Can we just please agree that its a bit selfish and a bit selfless

But didn't you say that being a mother was a selfless job? A good, caring mother will put themselves in harms way before they put their child. No, I won't agree to that because that's not what I believe, but I will agree to disagree.

Being a mother is a selfless job, which is not what most teens have in mind for their teen years

Lets just forget it and go back to OP's topic

*timidly* i agree...i'm sorry i didn't want to cause a whole big thing :confused3

its ok, you didnt even start the whole thing

If I was you Id just try to support my friends in what they do

i'm trying...she is deffiantly pregnant *she went to doctor today* and wants to keep it...i'm trying to stay supportive even though i don't agree :confused3

my god people
both abortion and having this baby would be bad for the girl
both have dire effects on someone who hasn't completed puberty yet
both have effects on grown women

can we just stop this pointless arguing and get back to helping out katie with her problem? the point of the thread..

okay here's my advice,
have her tell her parents, if the pregnancy is real.
she needs to confide in her parents, and not her friends, because they'll all give her different answers.

thank you

her parents do know, well her mother does her parents are divorced and they are trying to postpone telling her father :sad2:

she wants to keep it and i'm trying to tell her that that will probably not be the best choice for her, i have no doubts that she will take care of it but i'm worried that her mother will try to "take" the baby, i mean that would even probably be the better thing, if her mother raised it.

i really don't agree with what she's doing but i don't want to seem like i'm not supporting her...it's just a really sucky situation all around
