They probably wouldnt be adopted right away, but hopefully he/she would go into a fostor home that intends on adopting.

There was a girl who had a kid at 15 in my high school and her parents ended up adopting their grandchild as theirown.

This is what happened with my friend. She was put into a foster home at 10 and after 3 years that family adapted her. The really nice thing about her story is her parents just had twins but they still decided to adopt her.

i think that there is noting more she can do with that boy. tell the other friend to get a text soon and the one who is about 3 month in to look at different laws. in my state a boy has to legally financially provide for a baby until the boy/girl baby turns 18. it may be different in your state but if she decides on keeping the baby that would be a good thing to look into. and also, yes there are a lot of children in the adoption system but if she chooses this route make sure she finds a good group home to put the baby into. last thoughts: shes your friend, just make sure that you're there for her when she needs you, its more than likely that now she will need you more than ever

Abortion should never be an option...tell her to go for adoption if she really cant handle it. This is why kids shouldn't have sex until they are ready. I went to a pro-life rally and a guy said when you are ready to have sex and love her, that if you were in the situation of a dad coming home when you were having sex that you wouldnt flip out and you would man up to the dad instead of trying to hide from him.<---If you dont understand that I will write it again because the way I said it doesnt feel like I wrote it well

there is now talk, pretty substantiated talk that this girl was FAKING having her boyfriend's kid so that he wouldn't break up with her...but he broke up with her today anyways...ugh now i don't know what to think

dont tell her that. just dont. that actually one of the worst things in this world. abortion is terrible. i am very sorry for your friend(s) but... they did do this to themselves... they shouldnt have to kill a life because they made a bad decission... there were ways to no get pregers... and if she didnt use protection then she should not kill another life because of her own mistake. sorry if anyone feels i'm being harsh but i am 100% against abortion.

she swears they always used protection, but it may have failed once...but since i found out the 'update'. i don't know how much of what she says i should believe anymore

How can someone fake being 3 months pregnant? Is she not starting to show? I thought you said she told her parents? That's ridiculous. Kids these days...

Nevertheless, I can't believe people are telling you what you should 'tell' her to do. If she was pregnant, then the only person who can make the decisions is herself.

Foster care is NOT something you should put a baby in. They're moved around from home to home and shelter to shelter with few people giving them actual attention. I know there are a lot of great foster homes out there, but the system is so screwed up. If they aren't adopted, they're just kicked out the day they turn 18 with no help from the state.

Adoption is always a great choice, if you are in control of the situation. You can find a great couple/person to adopt and oversee the whole thing, so the baby wouldn't have to be put in foster care.

Abortion is also a woman's choice. A 14 year old girl is most likely not capable of really undergoing pregnancy. Hips aren't wide enough yet, the girl is not fully mature, etc. Pregnancy/labor could really affect the girl's health.

Anyway, hopefully your friend was just faking!

The problem with adoption is that there are MILLIONS of kids in the US already waiting to be adopted. With our restrictions on adoption, it's unlikely that child would be adopted.

A lot of times women who have abortions in their teen years end up in therapy later in life because they can't get over the guilt of getting an abortion

If she was faking it then she's actually pretty dumb (no offense). Everyone will adventually know she isn't pregnant, so why even fake it. Yeah sure you can fake a miscarriage but Im sure the truth will get out.

It stinks that her boyfriend broke up with her anyway
