Ok so this week has been absolutely crazy...



I just found out that one of my really close friends is...pregnant and another one thinks she might be. They are both 14.

and the guy is completely ignoring her and avoiding her, and apparently doesn't want anything to do with her. She keeps coming to me to ask what she should do and I honestly have NO answers for her...i mean I'm still a virgin and have next to no experience with all that stuff


I just don't know what to tell her

Please have them tell their parents! They're only 14 and extremely young children themselves, they cannot handle this alone.

guys get scared and think if they walk away it will be solved....wrong. and PEOPLE WONDER WHY YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE KIDS WHEN YOUR A KID?!?!?!?! sorry had to put that out there.

Just tell her that you dont know how she feels right know, but that your there for her and even if you cant give advice your there to talk to

i myself have two pregnant friends right now.
even though we are a little older [17 and 18] it is still very tough.
nothing good will come out of it if she doesn't talk to her parents first.

she has told her mother but she can't get an abortion because its becoming too late *she's already almost 3 months in* and it's really expensive anyways.

If she can't afford an abortion then she DEFINITELY can't afford a kid. And also, 12 weeks is when most people get abortions anyway.

This is a perfect example of why abstinence-only education is such a truly horrible idea.

Wow, what a tough and hard place to be in.

I just hope she has a good community around her to get her through this and that she can make a clear and wise decision on what to do with the baby. There are so many infertile couples out there that they would glady welcome the baby with open arms.

I believe they find it funny because its adoption, not adaption.

but yes, talk her into no aborting the baby. adoption is always a better choice.

I know a girl who was pregnant and 14, and everything was fine, and the baby was adopted.

The problem with adoption is that there are MILLIONS of kids in the US already waiting to be adopted. With our restrictions on adoption, it's unlikely that child would be adopted.

They probably wouldnt be adopted right away, but hopefully he/she would go into a fostor home that intends on adopting.

There was a girl who had a kid at 15 in my high school and her parents ended up adopting their grandchild as their own.

So just because there are already millions of kids waiting to be adopted the girl should get an abortion?



My friend was in foster homes untill 13 when she finally got adopted. Sure it was a hard 13 years going from home to home, but now she's really happy.
