Yeah, in many cases that's true, but I haven't searched for anything remotely related to toenail fungus, not even other foot diseases, nor pedicures, shoes, or anything to do with feet. Haven't searched for other medications either.
That said, the toenail fungus ads don't bother me.
ETA: And of course, as soon as I posted this reply, guess what appeared? LOL

Firefox: You want the icon that looks like a little gear. It will be in the upper right hand corner of your screen (assuming the browser fills the screen). If you have one of the latest versions of Firefox, look for an icon that looks like three horizontal bars. If you click that, you'll see the gear on the window that opens -- the gear is labeled "Options." Click on that.
This will open a window with tabs across the top. You want the one labeled "Privacy". Now you need to look sharp, because the buggers have hidden what you want to do on the newer Firefox releases. About two thirds of the way down that window you will see the sentence:
You may want to clear all current history. The last four words will be in blue (I can't get my text to change color in this post, darn it!) and you want to click on those words just like they were an icon. That will open yet another little window. This window lets you clear things like your cache (always a good idea), cookies, etc. If you choose "Everything" in the top window, then it will all be cleared. That includes things like your cookies, log-ins (if you don't log out of, say, the DIS every time you're done), your cache, browser history (Yay! Nobody can see where you've been looking on line!), etc.
Hope this helps.
You can always just google "clear my cookies" and add the name of the browser you use. You'll be overwhelmed by instructions.
I have never searched for anything remotely close to toenail fungus and I very frequently get that nasty nasty toenail ad when I come to this board. Along with a plethora of things for stuff I have never searched for in my life, such as men's underwear and arrest records.
Fortunately most of the time I just get Disney ads, but when that fungus one comes up...BLECH!!
