Does any place sell Mickey Mouse umbrellas at Disneyland? My kids want to know what I want for Christmas and this sounds like a super gift...

Disney online store has several. There's an adult and a kids sized Mary Poppins parrot head umbrella, a San Francisco umbrella with a full image of Mickey, one of NY, and one for Chicago. The NY one says I * NY with a Mickey ears silhouette. The Chicago one replaces with I with the Mickey ears silhouette.

Do you belong to disney movie rewards? They have one right now (adult size or child size) that has mickey designs on it. It looks black and white but when rain hits it they turn color. Looked pretty cool but I didn't have enough points to get one.

It's been several years since I got a nice mickey head design umbrella. They don't seem to make a lot of them.

btw, I hate all the new disney merchandise that is city specific. Who thought that up? They certainly won't have broad appeal for everyone. And it means less options - such as the umbrella issue. They have cruise line specific or city specific but not anything with just the characters on it. (The only exception being Mary Poppins which is too out there for me with the parrot head and it isn't fold up.)

Sorry to tell you I didn't see any at the parks recently or I would have bought one myself.

There might be. There are Mickey Mouse umbrellas. I'm looking on Amazon, and some of their partner companies sell a Mickey and Pluto umbrella. There's one with Mickey dunking a basketball repeated four times around the umbrella.

I know you said Mickey in the parks, but it might not be that great to pay admission and/or pay parking and not see what you want. I'm pretty sure they sell umbrellas somewhere, but the exact design is another matter. I also thought that umbrellas were often brought out when it rains. It was dry when we visited.

The stores are just receiving their raincoats, boots, and umbrellas this week. I am not sure when they will go out for sale though.

There are many styles, I will see if there is a Mickey one. (the Monsters Inc line is to die for it's so cute!)
