What exactly is a code? Is that when I get those postcard things in the mail? When should I expect to have a code that might be valid for June 2010? TIA

That might be what you are getting when you get those postcards in the mail. You may also be getting a general advertisement. Depends on what that postcard says. See the above links for anything more specific--or ask away.

Unless you take advantage of a bounceback, you can't realistically expect a discount for June 2010 until December 2009 or January 2010 (more likely) at the earliest. Of course the 4/3 deal which included June 2009 came out in November 2008. If bookings are down, as you get closer to June 2010 you might be able to take advantage of/receive a discount or code that are in addition to big batch mailings. Of course, discounts and codes are never guaranteed.
