Okay, I know this isnt the tecch page, I posted one on there too. but I was thinking that maybe one of you could possibly help me out. So I have had an inspirion 600m since august 2004. And in september 2005 it almost completely crashed, but my friend was able to fix it. But yesturday, it turned off by itself and now when I turn it on, it goes straight to a blue screen, and I cant get away from it. When I brought it to my friend that fixed it last time He said that I had fried my hard drive, or something. I dont really know what that means, but I do know that my computer doesnt work anymore. My friend told me to call up Dell and they would send me a new computer, but I am afriad they wont be able to help. Becuase When my mom called the last time my computer almost died, she didnt like the service they provided. and i was just wondering if you thought they would be helpfull and hopefully send me a new one, no cost, or if you thought it would be a waste of time and that I am just totaly screwed?
Thanks

u should call dell they should helpi dont know if theyll give you another computer for free though. :badpc:

hmm. is it the 'blue screen of death?"click here if you don't know what I'm talkign aboout.
If it is, then try whatever you can to get it into safe mode. Then do a system restore as soon as you can to the last checkpoint before the problem. If you can't get it into safe mode, you're gonna have to wipe it and start over. Is everything on it backed up?
