Has anyone been on the Ultimate Thrills VIP Tour recently and can answer this question: In an older thread, I read that when you begin the tour, the guide takes hold of everyone's magic bands because they scan them in bulk at various points (for the rides, or when entering different parks, or something). The issue this creates is that you are not wearing your magic bands while on the rides, so there is no link to Memory Maker for ride photos. The person who posted this advised buying a second set of magic bands (i.e., each person on the tour would have 2 MBs linked to him/her) in order to give on MB to the guide and keep wearing one MB for the ride photos.
Is this still accurate? I am loathe to shell out $ for a second set of magic bands. It just seems kind of silly. It seems that the tour should have a better way to handle ride photos on the tour.
