Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe Software

Does anyone know if this game is to create a Disney themed roller coaster? Or is it just a generic coaster creating game? I know there is a game called "Disney Coaster", which I just bought but haven't opened yet, because I thought maybe the Coaster deluxe is an improved version of the same game. Anyone know? Thanks!

is just a coaster building game. Not disney themed. I've never heard of Disney Coaster though.

We have Ultimate Ride Deluxe - It's a great game - It is put out by Disney Imagineering, but it isn't specifically Disney Themed - There are some Hidden Mickeys in it. You can choose various themes & music. You can either build coasters from scratch or do Imagineer Challenges, which really make you think - I think it's a great learning tool for future engineers with those challenges.
Make sure your computer fits the requirements, esp. on the video card & it doesn't "like" NT based Windows - You may have to load a patch if you have NT-

We bought the Disney Coaster Friday also. We tried to install, but found out that our video card only has 2 MB of memory and the system requires 8. Our SIL is working on upgrading or whatever our system needs. But it looks waycool! Can't wait to get it going for us and the grandkids. It is supposed to be build your own coaster around the themed lands of the themeparks.

Someone with Dismey Coaster needs to giv eme more info - I am seriously hoked on Roller Coaster Tycoon, and just got RCT 2 for Chanukah. I am thinking about getting the Disney Coaster game too - anyone with both RCT and DC experience?

My DD is a Rollercoaser Tycoon Junkie!!! Along with Loopy Landscapes etc..etc..etc... I know she loves these.
I just bought Disney Coaster and Rollercoaster Tycoon2 today, but sorry, can't give you any info until after the holidays are over, but she did request the Tycoon2 on her Christmas list, I just added the Disney one, hoping she'll like them both.
