Ultimate Planning spreadsheet for the iPad *pdf files coming soon*

This is an awesome app - Thanks Mike.. Now I have one question - is there any way to print these pages once you are done? Like can I share between my ipad and imac to print a page for my friend?

Keep in mind that I did not format the pages with printing in mind so results may vary.

In the tools menu on the top right corner of the screen you can share the file via email. Be sure to share as a PDF file. Send it to yourself and print it out.

Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

Waiting to get ipad 3 then I will so be all over this. Thank you for your hard work!

This looks awesome!!

I just have an iphone, will it be big enough to be worth downloading numbers??

I am a cheapskate- 10bucks is a lot for an app! Nothing really when compared to my disney addiction though.

Downloaded :-) many thanks!

Just wanted to ask if there was a way to set the currency to £ instead of $?

not easily, but for all intensive purposes you can ignore it. It does not do any exchange or anything like that.

While I did not format the pages to fit the iPhone it will work on them. I tend to use the iPad though.

Hello Everyone,

Just as a quick update.

I am in the process of splitting up the main planner to individual number files. This will allow people to just grab they ones they want. It will also make it easier if I add stuff, this way you won't have to fill out everything over and over again.

And for the big news, I will be converting the files to an editable PDF format as well. This should please the android/windows users.

No timeframe as of yes so please be patient.

Anyone out there with an android phone or tablet thats willing to test a few pdf files for me?

Im thinking about using enhanced pdf instead of numbers files. This would allow the times to be used by anyone.

Thanks a bunch.

I don't like paying for apps too. On the Apple website, there is a trial for iWorks
for 30 days. Now that I have used it, I will purchase it. I could definitely use this for other things.

Mike,

Your app looks AMAZING! I am strongly considering purchasing "Numbers" just for this. It looks like the iCloud will help my dilemma... While my iPad is awesome for actually crunching the numbers, my iPhone will be much more convenient while we're in the parks looking up reservation numbers/times, park hours, etc. Can your files be uploaded to the iCloud in order to do that? Sorry, I'm a total newb. :confused3

Yes Kim, if you open the numbers file on your iPad it will upload itself to the cloud right away. Then you can access it on the iPhone as well.

The pdf versions that I am starting to come out with will not work that way. So stick to numbers. :thumbsup2

Hey Lob,

Can you try playing around with my budget.pdf file? See of it works as intended on your android and if so what program are you using?

Check all functions, like the drop down menus, the calculations and the ability to save.

You can get the file from the other thread or my blog. (links in my sig)

I really appreciate it.

It's Lo-B-McF - I'm cracking up right now because I'm realizing that it really does come off as being Lob since I neglected to capitalize the B

the username comes from my cat, who's name is Lorraine Baines McFly (brownie points if you can catch the reference ;))

I'm just downloading it now... I got an alert that says the item is not supported, but I'm going to play around with it and see! Hooray! I'm a planning lunatic, so this is like my dream

Thanks!

Thanks McFly. lol. Does your cat have a kitten named Marty that likes to drive at 88 miles an hour? ;)

let me know how the file works out for you.

HAHA no but she does have a much more obscure brother named Bill Haverchuck. He loves watching Dallas and has a peanut allergy.

I'm having some trouble with the .pdf on my phone, mostly because I can't find an application that will allow me to edit it. I saved it on my laptop and it's working wonderfully (which, honestly, would be my preferred method over the smartphone). I'll do some more research tomorrow and will give you an update! :thumbsup2

This looks like an amazing app. I tried the pdf version budget planner and it worked like a charm on any PDF viewer I tried. Would be awesome to get the entire app at the market. :cheer2:

Can you list the viewer that let you make edits and such? Thanks
