Ultimate park hopper question

In 2002 we stayed at a Downtown Disney Hotel (downtown courtyard)...we purchased the Ultimate Park Hopper Pass at the hotel after arriving. I have been told that you can no longer buy this type of pass at any of the Downtown Disney Hotels..

Does anyone have any recent experience with this type of pass when staying at any of the downtown disney hotels (hotel royal, hilton, courtyard, best western, buena vista palace, doubletree suites)...

As of May 3 none of the Downtown Disney hotels are offering the Ultimate Park Hopper passes.
