Ultimate Park Hopper advice

I'm thinking about booking a Room & Ultimate hopper package (Dream Maker Package) for 7 nights. My husband will be with me for the first 3 nights, then he departs and my friend is going to meet me at WDW and spend the remaining 4 nights with me.

When my husband departs, can he hand his ultimate park hopper over to my friend, so she can use it for the duration of our stay?

Doesn't seem illegal or immoral to me, since their stays don't overlap. Any advice?

I don't see anything wrong with it ethically, morally, etc. But I'm not sure that it is allowed. But if your name is on the room reservation....it will be your name on the ultimate park hopper pass/room key. I would guess the official answer would be no - but I don't know why it would be wrong. You might just call to find out the "official" answer.
