Can the Ultimate Hopper Pass be bought @ check-in? Can it be purchased so we will not be paying for our check-out( or the teary-eyed-drive-to-the-airport) day?

Yes, you can purchase the UPH at checkin. You can drop off the last day. Many persons don't like the UPH but for us, it works out better. We tend to use all the options on it including Pleasure Island quite frequently for our trips. It gives us the ultimate flexibility to change our minds on a whim.
