I’ve booked The Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour as a surprise for my DD during our Christmas trip.
Has anyone done this tour recently? I’m having a tough time finding reviews and I have some specific questions.
Would love some help.

Do they talk about the parks at all as they walk or do they basically just take you from ride to ride? I'm trying to decide between this and Keys to the Kingdom. I was hoping that UDoT would have a little facts mixed in with the thrills.

my guides gave some fun fact but not what you would get on key to the kingdom tour if you had a question they would tell you

The guides talk with you quite a bit. It’s not a formal talk, but rather conversation to pass the time while you walk or drive between rides/parks. You learn lots along the way. It was a fabulous day. We did the tour and then headed to AK for our three fast passes and dinner. So four parks in one day. My first timer friend loved it. She hit all the WDW highlights in one day. Took the pressure off for the rest of the trip.

I don’t remember the guides giving out any info that I didn’t already know except for when we did Haunted Mansion. Going through the back entrance was cool! We had to wait in there a while for the room to empty so we could go in. Our guide filled the time by telling us little facts about HM. Other than that we moved pretty quickly from ride to ride.

This tour is more about the attractions than the parks. You hit the attraction and move on.

We enjoyed the tour and thought it was worth the money. Time well spent. Our guides were fun and informative. They did joke around but were very professional.

Do these tours typically sell out?
I belive the tours hold up to 40 people with 4 guides the two I took were very small 11and 5 maybe the last one I booked the day before. with anything if you really want to do it book it early if you will not be that upest if it fils up wait

They were sold out this weekend. I couldn’t get into one day at all and that was over a month ago. The day I did, there were 40 which was the max. Two groups, two guides each. If you can do it, GO! We did so much and it was fun.

This is what I was thinking of doing when we do this tour in August. I have HEA dessert party booked for that evening. Would we have time to get to AK, ride FOP and head back to MK in time? Did the tour provide your transportation to AK or did you have to arrange that on your own? Thanks!

Our tour ended about 3:30ish. We had the option of staying at HS or catching a ride back to MK. If you wanted to go anywhere else, it was up to you to find transportation. You could Uber to AK so you got there quickly. If you got a FP+ for 4:30, you could make it to the dessert party. You might have to Uber instead of bus but I think it’s entirely possible.

The tour did not provide transportation back to AK. We took a cab from HS. I think you could do what you suggested if you used a Minnie Van/Uber/taxi. I think otherwise it would be tough. As a side note, your plan will undoubtably exhaust you. We walked 35 000 steps that day. That’s without your proposed return trip to MK. Can you reschedule the dessert party?

We are only there for two nights and the first night is MNSSHP so we can't reschedule the dessert party. I have plenty of time to think on this, thank you for sharing your experience!

Thank you! We would probably do a minnie van both ways, just to save some time. Good to hear it would be possible
