We have this tour planned during our trip end of September/October. For those that have done this tour could you let me know how you liked it. Do you remember about what time you ate lunch? I know kind of a weird question but I am trying to make plans for dinner and the evening and wasn't sure if it was an early lunch or a late lunch.

Also, were you really tired after the tour? Have read it is fast paced, which is fine but I am just wondering if we should head back to our hotel and chill out for a bit, shower/nap and then go to maybe Epcot in the evening or should we power through and do a nice table service dinner at HS relax and then do GE in the evening?

We have never done a tour so I not sure what to expect. We have always done trips where we start early, head back to hotel for a bit and rest and then go off to another park in the evening.

Would love to hear peoples experiences on the Day of Thrills Tour!

My dad and I did it a couple years back. Though this was before TSL opened. It started later than it does now and check in was at Tomorrowland Terrace rather than wherever it is now. That said, we really enjoyed it. The lunch I think was around noon time but I really can't remember. The tour itself was fast paced but didn't feel rushed. My dad is pretty spry (69 when we went) and still had plenty of energy after.

I'm not sure I would count on the tour getting you to DHS with enough time for a table service and then GE. Consider if you have the energy, hit GE and maybe do QS there or somewhere in DHS before entering the land.

Did the tour 5 years ago -loved it enough to do it again this Saturday. First time, lunch was sometime around 12:30 pm in DHS. Visited 3 parks ..hit all the big rides - no wait and transportation between parks made it easy to do. Must have finished around 4 pm. Not sure where lunch is this time but the tour ends in DHS around 3:30 pm., just in time for our Olga's cantina reservation. Had to verify where this tour ends because of that reservation. We'll just opt to stay in the park instead of riding back to Magic Kingdom at the end. We 'intend" to head back for a rest at our hotel and then walk over to Epcot for our Test Track fast pass and alittle F & W time. Aggressive plans, maybe. Tired after the tour ? Only natural but its a better "tired" then after a day or work !

We did 35 000 steps that day! Loved every second! I went with a friend of mine. Dh kept the kids for the day and we met them at AK afterwards for our evening there with dinner and a few fastpasses. It’s tiring but awesome. One of my best Disney days ever.

The next day we were not sore at all and did rope drop first thing. That morning was Magic Kingdom again.

I did the tour on 8/31/2019 and LOVED it. The guides were wonderful and we were able to get on all rides with little to no wait time. We met by the Hall of Presidents around 8:15AM and they gave us bottles of water. We checked in and got a VIP lanyard to wear. We started in MK and then took a van over to Epcot around 11:30 -12 time frame in which we ate at the Sunshine Seasons. We got to choose a drink, side, entree and dessert or a combination of that. We were there for about 30-45 min and then did Soarin. After that, went back to van and was taken to HS. We finished up around 3:00-3:30. Once it's over, they can either take you back to MK, to the Transportation/Ticket Center at MK or you can stay at HS or find your own way back etc. I did this with my hubby and we are in our 30's. We were tired so went back to our resort and relaxed for awhile and then we did AK later in the evening. It is fast paced but there are several bathroom breaks. You are taken care of very well. This was our first tour and a great experience. I probably wouldn't do it again as it is quite expensive, but the weather was great despite the threat of Dorian a few weeks back and we were able to ride everything that you can.

Thanks for asking about this, my family and I booked this tour for September 30th and we're beyond excited. We only have 1 day scheduled in the parks for this quick trip so the Ultimate Day of Thrills tour seemed perfect to get in as many of the top rides as possible in a single day. Hope you enjoy your tour and have a magical day.

Oh my gosh thank you everyone! So helpful to read your reviews and hear how fantastic the tour is! We will see how we feel! Made a dinner reservation in HS if we are too tired we will cancel and head back to the hotel.
Flynnismine! Our tour is that day too! So funny. I will see you in a couple of weeks. We are family of 4. Kids are 16 and 20.

This is the same as our experience a few years ago with a couple of changes. We met in MK at 8:00am at Tomorrowland Terrace. There were several other tour groups meeting there too. We got our lanyards and water. We started with Haunted Mansion and hit all the top rides in MK. We then took the van to EP, entered through a back entrance, had lunch at SS and rode Soarin. Back into the van again for a ride to DHS where we entered the park by Rock N Roller Coaster. We hit all the highlights there (Toy Story Land wasn't open yet) and finished around 3:30 or so. I do remember we covered 11 attractions that day, well worth the price tag to me.

I found it to be fast-paced but not in a bad way, just in a commando way. I was beat by the time we finished. I think we had a dinner booked that night and then chilled after.

:cheer2:That's so awesome that we'll be on the same tour September 30th. We are a family of 3, myself, DH and our DD (10). Not sure how many they book for each tour but now we know there's going to be at least 7 of us.:flower1:

After the tour, we're heading back over to EPCOT to eat our way around the F&W festival for dinner, do our 3 FP's, and catch the last showing of Illuminations.

I have this tour booked for October 2019. I am dying to know if it includes the Millenium Falcon or Oga's Cantina? I would like to skip getting up before 6am to go on Millenium Falcom if I can avoid it?

Highly unlikely. I don't think SDD was even included until rather recently, and I think that's because MFSR (and subsequently RotR) is the newest attraction.

I've heard rumors of a free gift from Ultimate Day of Thrills. Ahyone know what this is? Has anyone been on this tour since Galaxy's Edge opening and know if the tour hits any of the restaurants or the Millenium Falcon? I'll be super disappointed to plunk $350 x 5 people = $1,750 and not set foot in Galaxy's Edge.

I did this right at the end of August and GE was already open. We did Star Tours but no Millennium Falcon or Oga's Cantina or anything in that area. We did SDD, TSM, RnR, ToT, Star Tours in Hollywood Studios. Soarin in Epcot and in MK we did HM, Splash Mtn, Big Thunder, Space Mountain, 7 Dwarfs. I think I got everything. And you do get a gift at the end but we were asked not to say what it is, so sorry I can't say anything. The Disney website tells you all the rides you go on FYI. It was super fun.

So the charge is per person for this or per hour?

For "pre-packaged" tours (Ultimate Day of Thrills, Keys to the Kingdom, Wild Africa trek, etc.), they are per person. Disney does have customizable VIP tours that are per hour (must be at least 7 hours) that cover up to 10 people.

This Ultimate Day of Thrills Tour lasts from around 8:30AM to around 3:30 ish. And it's around $350 i believe for one person. I went with my hubby and it was around $700 for both of us. There is no hourly charge. The whole point of the tour is to hit all the Thrill rides. We had great guides.

We are going on this tour Saturday! I don't think GE or Millennium Falcon was included on the list of rides. Just received our email reminder and no mention of it. I will keep you posted!
How was the tour yesterday? Were you able to get into Galaxy's Edge and/or Millennium Falcon?

We did the tour on Saturday and it was fantastic! We all said it was awesome and would do it again or would definitely do another VIP tour!
You do not do anything in GE or ride Millennium Falcon. We did ask but no one seemed to really have an idea if/when that ride would be included. Flight of passage and Everest hasn’t been added so who knows.
Our guides were so fun and had great knowledge of the park and history. We just loved them! Happy to answer any questions.
