Does Disney offer any promotions for 2017 at any point over the next few months now the free dining has finished. I've been looking at prices but the packages are still the same price as they were with free dining and money. If they don't looks like we will have to wait until 2018.

Unlikely, they are more likely to offer a 2018 deal around April 2017 - As has been the case for the last few years.

Could be worth looking at a deal on the US websites or TAs.

there will probably be a US free dining offer for 2017....the US releases their free dining packages in the same year (in 2017, for 2017)..
i think the offer usually comes out in about april for end of august/september....

Don't they usually offer 20% off room prices etc between free dinning for 2017 to 18? May have imagined it

You might be right actually, I don't think it's as great value as the DDP though

I think you're right depending on resort, if you only want to stay at a value and DDP isn't important to you then it could be (... would never go without the DDP personally though now)

EDIT: PS, very jealous of all those upcoming trips! Enjoy it :D

Same, once you get the free DDP, it's tough to go back

I'm the opposite - we very rarely take free dining and prefer the AP discount on the room together with the Table in Wonderland discount. The AP now gives 20% of all purchases too. I used to spend ages working out the sums and for us the cost of the free dining deal was always more expensive.

We have occasionally taken free dining when there's been no AP discount mainly over the Christmas period.

The AP discount is a different kettle of fish, we did that one year, but back then the discount was not so great

is the AP discount back up to 20%...
the PAP was 20% for a while, then it dropped to 10%....so it's back up to 20%?
that makes it more worthwhile...

Usually, Disney UK will offer a room discount of some sort in the new year. Previously it was a percentage off but last year it was free nights.

There special AP discounts at the moment to celebrate the 45th Anniversary. 20% off merchandise plus some extra dining discounts.

I booked in March 2015 for Sep of that year so obviously missed free dining, if I remember correctly on the 7 night booking I got one night free

Plus the AP is good for 13 months with the DVC anniversary perks which really benefits us as it means we also get the Christmas trip next year out of the same AP.
