Day 2 Dec 1st
As Saturday is the only day showing SpectroMagic we headed over after breakfast, we had to take a boat which was nice arriving at 10am hoping to miss the initial rush. The security was very evident checking all bags before entry this aside we were still in the park by 10.20, Main street was looking better than ever with the Xmas decorations and tree as we walked up towards the castle the music started and then we were treated to Cinderellas Surprise Celebration a 20 min holiday extravaganza what a start to the day!. The crowds seemed very light as we did ride after ride with ease, in fact we did not use Fastpass at all. The kids were disappointed with the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Space Mountain was even a walk on ride!. Things got a bit busier for the Share a Dream Come True Parade, which Ive yet to see as I had to video it but I had goose bumps all over whilst doing it. After some refreshment and another couple of rides we got in line for SpectroMagic the rest of our party were starting to get into parade overload and were asking what could be different and did we really need to stay and see it (Sigh). SpectroMagic just has that something special and they were as enthused with it as we were and we all had big grins by the time it finished after yet another drink we watched the Fireworks before catching the boat back to the Wilderness Lodge. The Villas pool was empty when we returned so we changed and had a trip to the spa which was at a temp of 100deg and then a swim. After a short walk around the resort we went and sat around the tree reflecting on the day before retiring to bed at 10.30.
