Lucky I didn't decide to go - DH is having a pooey time at work with all the trouble in the city - didn't help that the Stock Exchange IT crashed on his watch last week and now my SIL has walked out on DH's bro and their two young boys I'm helping with the kids and they don't live locally.......I wish I was coming to Cardiff to forget it all...
Don't need soaps with DH's family at the mo!
Have a glass (or two) for me

Oh Joanne, I'm sorry to hear Richard's feeling the brunt of this torrid time - I know it's absolutely horrible at the moment! And such bad news about your BIL/SIL - hope that gets sorted asap...

We'll have to have a mini-Girly-meet of our own sometime soon - even if it's just Parc Franglais for coffee! Meanwhile we'll definitely have a glass or several for you. Take care... xxx

It's no biggie, what's going on. DH bounces back from pressure - like me, he actually likes it a bit like that..... that's what he's paid for!
It's just that the girls only see him for about an hour in the morning and leave is hard at the mo too....
....the SIL thing was on the cards. Personally, I think she's a bit poorly - never took to motherhood. I suspect long harboured post natal depression....
I'm not bringing down your lovely girly weekend thread, reading you all getting excitied really cheered me up anyway.....how many outfits etc...love it that you all get together!

How much walking are we likely to be doing on Friday and Saturday evenings, Sue, hon? I'm considering a particular pair of boots for one of the nights, but I know I could end up regretting wearing them by the end of the evening.

I've already discounted my fave pair of boots as they usually require the presence of my man and his arm to hang onto! So I'm opting for comfort on the Girly weekend - UGGs and trackie bottoms will have to do...
