UK Cider question?

My friend loves this cider "Strongbow".. She came across Strongbow while visiting England several years ago and she can only find it in the UK in EPCOT> We cannot find it in any stores here in the US!! WE even asked the CM at the Rose & Crown in EPCOT if she has ever seen it anywhere and she said No. I wonder if we can order on line? Is anyone familiar with Strongbow, any ideas how or where we can get it in the US?

Strongbow is a very popular and well know cider over here. Can't help you with where you could get it from in US though. Do you have branches of our Supermarkets ie Tesco or Sainsbury's anywhere?

I just had a quick look as I was curious and came across www.greensbeverages.com. Looks like they're based in Atlanta, don't know if you can actually order it online but it's quite expensive - a keg of Strongbow is $125.99 presumably without delivery.

I guess if these stock it though it may be easier to find than first thought and you might be able to find a stockist closer to home.

Thanks! I will look into the website. I had a feeling it would be a bit expensive. If they have it in Atlanta there is a good chance I may be able to get it in NJ? Maybe?

My DH doesn't drink anything alcoholic except for Cider and it's a real problem when we go abroad. When we were at WDW last year we had to go to the Rose and Crown a couple of times just so that he could have some! we then found an English pup at Liberty Village on the 192 highway which had most UK beers and ciders on tap.

I think the worst thing was when we went to Portugal the last time. They didn;t stock any kind of English Cider anywhere and he ended up drinking pear cider!! Different but it did him for a week! ha ha
