UK Bride needing help on WDW Escape Wedding

Never knew you could rent points from DVC - makes it much cheaper budget wise and you can stay somewhere a bit nicer than if you booked direct with disney etc.

Apparently they dont offer discounts on room rates when you book an escape package anymore, but say you can call WDW reservations to make a booking. i know you have to book a minimum (4 nights i think) at a WDW resort hotel to get the escape package, but wondered if you had to do this via disney direct, or if you did DVC rental or booked somewhere else but still at one of their resorts, if they recognise the booking/still allows you to qualify for the escape package? (does that make sense? )

You don't have to book direct with Disney you can book with anyone eg Virgin, just as long as its a Disney owned hotel so the Swan & Dolphin don't count.

Have you checked out the Passporters book?? It's very helpful with the basics that you need for planning.
