UK and Australia listeners - need your help

We don't really care whether or not we can understand what you are saying, we just enjoy hearing your accent.

Do you think they will be able to understand the accent ?, or will they make fun of us do you think ? We're from Glasgow so the accent is a bit strong.

I love the Glaswegian accent! Call...nobody will make fun of you, and if they do, it's because we want to bring you down to OUR level. It's fun down here.

I called in a couple of weeks ago to the live show ( I am from NE Scotland ) and if they made fun of me they all did it behind my back so I will never know :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Call in - you will sound great :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Go for it. I have family in Glasgow (Mum's originally from Paisley, just like Dr Who :) ), and it's always fun talking to them with their accents. Plus, I sound like a right idiot on mine, but it was worth a shot!

you wont think you sound good :lmao: - I had to force myself to listen to my call and even then I was cringing at my every word :scared1:

Also, what show was that, I wanna listen to it as I missed it when I was back at home for christmas.
EDIT: Found It!!!!

EDIT (again): If I post on here too much over the next 3 hours. Shout at me, I'm supposed to be doing my university assignment. Also, if you have me on facebook, you can see the work I'm doing ;).

Who?? ;)

So, I have to ask, if you have a dream about meeting the Queen does it mean anything in particular (or have I just been watching too many David Tennant episodes)?

You can never watch too much David Tennant :lmao:

Hi Pete

I just rang and left a message from Sydney Australia. It seemed to work OK but I was so nervous I don't remember what I said!:rotfl:
Thank you so much for thinking of us down under. You have quite a few fans down here I'm sure.

Ahhhh! I don't have the courage!! I talk way too fast... deep breaths, deep breaths.

I wonder if the guys realise they have such an effect on us or its maybe bacause us brits are so shy and retiring we find it difficult to call

Mine has Glaswegian with North East thrown in for good measure. The team understood mine, so you will have no problems :goodvibes

Add an Aussie accent to the phone messages. it worked!! I was expecting to have to dial international BEFORE dialling the 1800 number - but gave it a try anyway and it worked!!.
