I am trying to renew my AP, expires on the 21st, going to DLR on the 22nd, but it says they mail it and I won't get it before the 26th. Does this seem right? I thought there was a print option?!?!?

Has anyone had a similar problem?

That happened to me last year you just need to print out your confirmation page and they will give you a paper ticket that says annual pass if you go to guest services.

Ours expire tomorrow and I just renewed them yesterday, I asked the same question as I want to go Monday and guest services said to just bring our confirmation page & old passes and we should have no problem.

I just called and the lady said to just do it at the ticket booth, I asked, are you sure I will get the 20 off? She said YES there is a 30 day grace period, but I am still nervous!!! 20 bucks is 20 bucks!

She told me if I do that, they will give me a paper ticket good for 1 day, but I will be there for 2 days AND I want to get the discounts....

Should I trust this lady? Call back and ask again? Or renew and bring it all to the ticket booth??

nsiordia-tell me what happens.

I already renewed online yesterday, they just said to bring the confirmation to the ticket booth. They have to take, it's proof you paid/renewing and signed the contract. I think you will be ok, not sure if we are going after all :/ one of the kids is sick...booooo!

When I renewed last year I didn't pick the extra cost 2 day shipping but it still showed up in about 3 days.
The problem I always have is when I send in the renewal and then go to the park with my un-expired pass! Every year it gets rejected but they know at the gate that that happens.

Well, IF you go let me know if it was easy and if they gave you the pass so you can get the discounts, etc.!!

Feel better kiddo !!!

If you print out the confirmation and bring it to guest services they will give you two paper tickets one to get into the park and for fast passes the other with your annual pass number for discounts. I did it last year and it worked fOr everything even parking.

For all days there?

THANKS!

I am just not buying that if you renew within 30 days you still get the 20 bucks off!

Just wanted to add my $0.02.

When we renewed in May 2010, about 2 weeks before our trip and our card was expiring a few days before our trip since we often go at the same time of year ... because we live in Hawaii mail often takes awhile, and when we went to guest services they gave us a duplicate AP for free since ours hadn't arrived yet. :thumbsup2 Mainly we renewed to have the "Special Design" that was only available for renewals (as DVC we get the same discount whether its a renewal or an original AP) so we only used our duplicate APs for that one trip and threw them out once we had the 'real' ones. :rotfl2:

I believe it was for all the days we were here. I go on Thursday and I just ordered my pass so I'll have to do it again this year. Maybe one year I'll be more on top of it.
