I have to laugh over this one. My best friend was at WDW with us last January. She bought a few pins.
I had asked her to buy the Indiana pin for me in South Bend today.
She went over. Everyone knew she was a newcomer and welcomed her and treated her very nice. She was able to buy multiples for me -- and she kept one for herself.
Now... she is now mulling over making a run to Portage MI to see of they have MI state pins left! :D I'm a baaaaddddd influence. We will see if she does it.:D (She lives in lower Michigan.)
She said at the TDS in South Bend/Mishawaka, they were given two pins each and allowed to go back in line and keep on getting two pins until they had the number they wanted. (Sounds like leapfrog) ;)
Then they were allowed to pay all at once. (One check/payment) I had to pay individually for each of my groups of two's. It's always interesting to hear how each store handles their sales differently.

A CM manager came out before the store opened to tell us about the sales/promos/etc. We specifically asked two questions - was there a limit on state pins & could we pick up our pins & not pay for them until we finished shopping, so we could take advantage of the specials. No problem! I do know our store only got 24 of all but three pins (97, 99 & 100), so some people were not happy. I got everything we needed.
