NY is slow to the whole Chick-Fil-A thing, I have to take an 1.5 hour road trip to the closest one. But come 2019 that will all change!

Once A Guest Show CM, Always a Guest Show CM
We have officially hit the half way point in our trip and I don’t know how it went to fast already. And this morning I had nothing planned for us, no parks to get to early, no fp to use until later tonight. It was another catch up on sleep and possibly head over to Disney springs. But first some breakfast, then the “what do you want to do this morning” conversation and then we decided to go to Disney Springs. So off to the bus we went.
I on the over this little girl just found out who her teacher was and that one of her friends were in her class. But from there it started to get funny, she was talking to her mother about this friend and goes “I don’t want a boyfriend….but we can still have play dates” Then to another relatable saying she said “I don’t have friends” She was hilarious and so relatable.
We arrived at Disney Spings a little after 10 and we headed over to World of Disney.
Like every time we go into WOD I end up loosing Erin and find her with an arm full of merchandise hours later. So while I was doing some browsing I stopped to look at the 2018 attraction poster calendar and knew I had to go back to Cast Connections next year to get it. The reason I need it was all the Tokyo Disney posters!
I ended up finding Erin checking out and then we were off to Basin…because if you don’t go use the hand scrub when visiting Disney Springs you are clearly making a mistake. Then it was to the Co-Op, TrenD, and back to Uniqlo. At Uniqlo I ended up picking up a Rapunzel shirt because how can you say no to $8, then I found this pretty awesome jacket that I almost got but it was a little to much for what I was willing to pay. But the world tour is on the top of my list to complete…and a trip to china is the only thing standing in the way of it being complete (and California since I was a wee tot when I went)
At this point Erin ditched me and headed back out into Disney Springs to go on a major shopping spree.Today I had plans to visit a former guest show coworker from DCP days. I told Erin she didn't have to go since the last DCP meet up I did she was there and she still talks about how I “left her” with a guy she didn’t know. I knew a few months before that I was going to visit Gaby at work, she randomly messaged me on Facebook when she realized we were at Disneyland Paris a few days apart and then that led to her telling me she was doing another ICP, and I was visiting just in time to visit her at work!
So I headed off to the bus stop and caught my own motor coach over to All Star Movies. Since the Disney schedules come out 2 weeks out I got in touch with her and she told me all the days she worked and it worked out perfectly that I didn't plan anything for this afternoon. Once getting to Movies I had for the food court to get something to eat since I knew Erin would probably be getting lunch back at Disney Springs. So a child’s mac and cheese meal was just enough to get me through for the afternoon. Little did I know that they do not have the normal Disney mac and cheese and I was very disappointed!
At this time I messaged Gaby and she told me how she was moved over to Music for the day. I thought I would have to make the trek over there but luckily she told me that she would be over at Movies in 2 minutes.
I headed over to the lobby and we were those basic people running to each other and embracing in a hug. Its been almost 3 years since I last saw her and it was great to see her. Gabby is my favorite Brazilian and is one of the sweetest people I have ever known, she is always so bubbly and loves life. Honestly I am so grateful that Disney has brought so many people into my life, I always advise people not to do the DCP cause it will ruin you when it ends. But in the long run it brings people into your life from all over the world and then you get to come back and visit them at work.
Gaby is back for another international program, 3 months of fun working at All Stars as a Brazilian Super Greeter. Basically she helps take care of those lovely Brazilian tour groups when they arrive. We caught up on life, her program, how this was her last week of work, and how completely different Disney Springs is. She quickly headed back behind a door that read CMs only and came out with a chocolate bar from Brazil for me, this girl was always giving me Brazilian candy on our program.
I took up a lot of her time catching up and didn’t want to hold her any longer, however I’m a picture person so we tried finding someone who could take a picture. At this time a guest came up to her and she was off doing her own thing and I couldn’t understand one thing they were talking about. After a solid 5 minutes of going back and fourth she took him to the counter for better assistance then came back saying she gets so many foreign guests come with cheap tickets that aren’t real for the parks. Or they try using universal tickets at Disney.
Finally we found a lovely guest to take our photo.
She insisted that she walk me to the bus, at this point I could go anywhere since I was headed back to WL. Epcot was the only bus there so she walked me to the bus, said our goodbyes and I was off.

Italy Date Night
When I got back to the room Erin was there ready to show me everything she purchased once I left. I think she bought all of Disney Springs. It was bag after bag of new outfits she purchased for this trip…even though she had plenty of clothes packed. But I just let her do her thing. We laid around until 2:30ish when we decided to head over to Epcot for the night.
Once arriving to Epcot our first stop was character spot, aka Epcot has a lack of FP selections so why not meet some characters?
Visiting the old boss is always great but the Photopass CM was not on her game. We were very disappointed with the darkness of the photos.
Goofy is the real MVP though
Every girl needs a goofy guy in her life
When you tell Goofy you got your magic band just so you could match him, only for the number 1 bae.
However he was very unimpressed with Erin who had so many Alex and Ani’s and none of them were him.
Last but not minnie mouse, just a group of sassy girls
After our time at character spot ended we headed over to the land pavilion but when we saw the line we turned back the other way and left. So instead it was off to figment. Because 1)There is a lack of Figment in Erin’s life and 2)He was my childhood favorite.
After figment we had about an hour until our soarin’ FP so we didn’t really want to travel far away from the area. Plus it started to rain so we headed over to Nemo and friends. But like always, that ride never has a line. So we had to find another way to waste some time. Why not look at some fish?
These fish are not very tropical like the ones I see when I snorkel and I was unimpressed.
Theres only so much time I can walk around and look at fish, so with that being said we decided to head over to the land pavilion and wait there until our FP time opened for Soarin. Once 5:10 hit he were in that line and ready to travel around the world. Erin was seated by the cutest little girl ever. She was just in awe of the ride, literally every knew place that came up on the screen shocked her. And all I wanted to tell her was travel the world, highly recommend. Because once you start you’ll never want to stop seeing and experiencing new places.
After our flight we booked it, and I actually mean booked it. We were the first ones out of that theater and were running. We had dinner reservations at Via Napoli and we had a solid 5 minutes to make it to the other side of the park.
Who doesn’t enjoy the thought of taking a nice jog in 90 degree weather?! Although it was brutal I couldn’t help but laugh at our life. Erin was determined to get there because she was worried they wouldn’t take us (however we all know Disney, as long as you show up you will be fine)
After the mixture of running, to a fast walk, to a little jog we finally made it to Italy. And once we checked in we had to wait…all that running for nothing.
But it was all worth it when we got our food. I have been waiting for this pizza for over 3 years. Why it took me this long to get back? Who knows? But I have been raving about this pizza since my last time here and I was sort of nervous it wouldn’t live up to what I remembered. I was worried for nothing because it was delicious!
I got the Quattro Formaggi pizza and Erin went with the chicken parm.
Overall it was a win for our first BFF date night in Italy.

Getting My Epcot Jog On
After a great meal we had to rush out of Italy and back to the front of the park. Tonight was the night of running from opposite sides of the park. So once again we got on our running shoes and headed for spaceship earth. We had fp that we weren't all that worried about missing but Amelia was texting us during dinner asking if we were going to make it because she wanted to go on and she was saving her fp to use for us. So we literally sprinted.
By the time we made it, Amelia's fp ended more than 20 minutes. And the CM was ready to call her out for it. "Who's Amelia and why are you late?" But once she saw that Amelia was young she became more friendly and didn’t care that she was late.
While taking a ride through the future Erin was excited to find the garage scene that she thought was in CoP, still learning her Disney. Slowly but surely.
After Spaceship Earth I had no time to chat because I was once again off to the world showcase, this time I had a specific meeting time with the queen of arendelle. This shocked me because who would have ever thought I would be running back to the world showcase just to see Elsa?! Erin stayed back because you can only run Epcot so many times before you just have to give up.
Now this was my first time at the Royal Sommerhus and it was all cute and dandy until I saw this…
Rude. Still bitter.
Once I got to the Character attendant I informed him that the queen told me to meet her at 8. So I was ushered to wait by the bookcase with another group who was also waiting. I stood there for over 5 minutes waiting as I watched other guests pass and go into rooms. Finally it was my turn.
This visit changed my views on Elsa instantly! She was never my favorite character and I always thought is was just very overrated. But guys she was the absolute sweetest person ever! When it was my turn she came walking up to me and was super excited that “the sister” came to visit her.
I’m sorry for all the freezing me jokes because this here is the most beautiful and kind human being.
I'm Sam and I give warm hugs (especially on a nice warm florida night)
Then it was time to meet Anna. She asked me what my favorite flower was…ummm awkward I’m not a big flower person. But I came prepared with my flower embroidered shorts to somewhat match the arendelle flowers.
I decided to browse the gift shop as I waited for Erin to arrive. While I was in Norway meeting the royal family they made there way to the world showcase and were currently in Mexico trying on sombreros and finding bags dedicated for magic bands (not really, but its a good fit)
As I waited I was tempted to get my school bread now but decided to hold off since we just ate and I wasn’t feeling like carrying it around all night. I ended up meeting Erin right outside of Norway where we took in the beautiful florida sunset.
Although Erin just came from Mexico she was kind enough to go back just for me because Panchito was calling me and I was done running for the night.
We were ready for a night of traveling around the world!

EPCOT is my favorite park. The sunset was just beautiful. I still haven't tried the School Bread yet. I tend to always get something from Karamell-Kuche.

MK is my favorite park but epcot is the best to eat at.
I love Via Napoli! Delicious pizza, highly recommend.That pizza looks delish! Still have to try it.

One Last Run To The World Showcase
Tonight there were EMHs at Epcot so we planned to walk around the world showcase during this time. First stop of the evening was China. As we walked around the gift shops I managed to loose Erin. This is the norm when it comes to us entering any gift shop on disney property.
Everyone was lining up for illuminations. And as we walked from country to country we contemplated stopping to watch. Its not my "must watch every time I'm here" and I don't really watch it often. All I did ask was that I could here the music.
Once Illuminations started we were more than half way done with the showcase. We walked some more and passed by a big wedding party enjoying their dessert party. And the bride and groom getting some fancy firework photos taken. Props to them for starring at each other lovingly for so long because I know I would not be able to be serious for that long.
We ended up walking back towards Japan where we found bench to park it on as the fireworks were going.
Tonight we did something I have never done at Disney and that was try on a kimono and I was pretty excited. It took a solid amount of time for us to choose which one we wanted to wear.
The CM who was helping us was from Urayasu and I was excited for the fact that I have been there. And this whole experience made me miss the greatness that Japan is. I’ve got my kimono and I am ready to visit Disney Sea again.
The night was flying by and our last thing on our list of things to do was go on Frozen. We original had FPs for this later on in the week but if we could get it over with now with a not so long wait we can switch our FP for a test track one.
Since I can’t go anywhere without making stops along the way, I decided to head to the bakery first. This way I know I have my school bread in hand because knowing my luck it would close before we got off the ride.
Then it was the joy of waiting. And the worst part about this queue is that it was my first time going through it so I didn’t know how long we had to wait. However I would say the details in the line were a solid 10 out of 10.
Now onto the attraction itself, it was cute and I probably wouldn’t dislike it so much if it didn’t take over the Maelstrom. I’m still bitter and will always be bitter about it. Plus is it a super short ride, for the crazy long line for all those crazy elsa fans.
And surprise it is worse than splash mountain, I got soaked and I was so unimpressed.
When we got off there was only a few minutes left till the park closed so we decided to just head out for the night. As we were leaving Norway Amelia was just getting in line, she wasn’t all that thrilled and I suggested that she just come with us back to the resort. She said no so we were off. Once we got to future world she called me asking if it was ok if she came with us, Erin looked at me and told me we were getting her…so it was the last run to the showcase I was doing for the day, 3 was my limit. But this time I just power walked as I indulged on my school bread. We found Amelia and it was goodbye Epcot.
With the park officially closed the bus line was ridiculous. It took forever for a bus to show up and then we didn’t fit on the one that did end up coming. So it was just a long night of waiting.
A bus finally came and it was a short drive back to WL. We hung out in the room until Amelia's mother arrived back to the resort. Before Erin took her down I made Amelia take the baseball shirt I got from cast connections and a washcloth (because you poor DVC members don’t get clean towels everyday and I borrowed one the night before) as a native peace offering. And then I slept like a baby after running Epcot like I was running a Disney Marathon.

With the park officially closed the bus line was ridiculous. It took forever for a bus to show up and then we didn’t fit on the one that did end up coming. So it was just a long night of waiting.
A bus finally came and it was a short drive back to WL. We hung out in the room until Amelia's mother arrived back to the resort. Before Erin took her down I made Amelia take the baseball shirt I got from cast connections and a washcloth (because you poor DVC members don’t get clean towels everyday and I borrowed one the night before) as a native peace offering. And then I slept like a baby after running Epcot like I was running a Disney Marathon.

Becoming One With An Avatar
Day 6 and I woke up in a ice box. Erin had set the AC to 60 degrees and I thought I was going to freeze to death. It became one of those “don’t make me get out of this warm bed” kind of mornings. After putting on multiple layers to stay warm and opening the sliding door to let that florida humidity roll in we were good to go. Today was ham day at the old faithful club and those days will always be my favorite. After a quick breakfast we were off to the park where I think we spent most of our days…Animal Kingdom!
The bag check line was a process, we picked the wrong line and stood in the same spot for a solid 10 minutes before the line started moving. But while everyone was rushing to get to Pandora we practically had the whole Dinosaur USA to ourselves. Thanks Avatar!
We were able to walk right onto Dinosaur twice in a row…probably even more times if we tried.
Not only did we get to time travel twice in the matter of 10 minutes but we also got to bring back a few dinos with us
We could only get in so many trips back in time before we had to head off to Pandora to use our Fastpasses. But first we had to get in those photo pass photos on our way through
This trip is brought to you by Flight of Passage, but honestly it was our goal to see how many times we could get on it this trip and not wait the 3 hours.

Flights is always a good choice and it’s even better when you have a fastpass.
Since Pongu Pongu was right at the exit I decided to see what the hype was over the night blossoms.
A Night Blossom is a mix of Limeade with apple and desert pear flavors with passion fruit bobas. It is extremely sweet, so if you like sweet/tangy things this is right up your ally. Overall it looks pretty, I liked the bobas, and its not awful. It’s probably not a drink I’ll get every trip to pandora but its definitely a must try when you're there.
While I was getting my drink Erin went inside of Satu’li Canteen for the AC but then ended up getting food. All I’ve heard was great reviews from this place so I wasn’t mad at all. The only struggle was what to order, the rice bowl or the cheese burger pods. Brittany told us the other night how great the pods were but I heard great stuff about the bowls. So in my moment of panic I decided to go with a bowl.
It was a great choice because it was great! I went with the chicken rice bowl with the creamy herb sauce. The only thing I was not a fan of was the yogurt boba balls.
After our meal we decided to see how many photo pass CMs we could find before we headed out of pandora for the day.

Hello Tour Guide Erin
We didn’t travel far from Pandora, just a short walk over to Harambe Village in hopes to catch the tumble monkeys in action today. With no fast passes we had to stick in out with the rest of the guests, although at some points I question if it is even worth getting a fast pass.
This time we headed straight for the Giraffe section and then it was showtime!
Welcome back into our lives your wonderful monkeys!
After the show we had one last thing to do before we left the park for the day. And with that we started a game called “have Erin lead us to our destination” AK is her “I don’t know my way around here” park and I was planning to change that. So I told her to lead us to Everest and I found myself stopping in my tracks if she headed the wrong way. I wasn’t walking the long way in the florida heat.
With a few short “follow that mountain” we finally made it and were ready to take on the yeti
After our trek up and down the mountain we decided it was time to head out. But not before Erin got her mickey bar. Erin was ready she had her money out and ran straight to the CM ready to give it up for a delicious ice cream treat. However the CM thought she was just being nice and giving him $5 (which honestly when did mickey bars get that expensive?!). From the CM side, it was a dead area he was probably bored and just wanted to talk to someone but from Erin’s side, it was like give me my ice cream so I can leave.
She got her ice cream and we were out of there. I was just on a mission to the bus stop, it was hot I was tired and if we got back to the room early enough I could take a nap and that sounded great. So while I only had eyes for the bus stop I heard someone coming at me saying my name. I didn’t get the guys name, but how you were able to pick me out in a crowd props to you! Thanks for saying hi and thanks for telling me you like my trip videos!
Once we got to the bus stop I was scrolling through my social media, which is a typical thing while we wait. And thats when I saw the bucket list family’s 30 days 30 stays. This family is literally my dream family, they are the cutest and they travel all over the world with their 2 little kids. But now they were at Disney for 30 days, I thought they were living the dream traveling the world. Definitely recommend their youtube channel if you haven’t seen their videos before.
Once we got back to the resort I passed out, Erin took this time to head to the pool to catch some rays. However she came back once the rain came.
