I think I injured my left thigh. It was aching this morning after I had run last night. I thought it would be better for today's run. No such luck. I got about half a mile done before it started hurting. I can walk on it pretty much okay, but can't run on it. :(

Did you ice it? Rest, ice, compression, elevation RICE
Sounds like a stress injury. How long is your normal run? You may be in for a bit of a rest. Can you do some vigorous stretching/yoga instead?

Thanks for the tip. I've got my iced leg elevated right now.

My normal run is 3-3.5 miles. I'll do stretching tomorrow and will see how I feel.

front or back? I would ice tonight and after your run tomorrow. Be careful!!!! I ran a half marathon in June and then had a few "twinges" in my left posterior thigh, rested, iced, was pretty gentle (as gentle as I could be as I had started full marathon training). Long story short-went for a light 5 mile run and at mile 1 felt an ugly pain, pulled up, thought I could shake it out, tried to run again, realized I needed to get off it, went home, iced etc. went to the doctor the next day and found out I had a torn hamstring. One month off it, 4 weeks into PT and I am just starting to run again. Good luck, listen to your body and be careful!!!!!!!!

Back and lower part. I'm not running tomorrow, but I will ice after the next time I run.

sounds familure. Any instability? Pain going up or down stairs? FWIW, I was able to walk with minimal pain (occ, waves of big pain if I stepped a certain way....) but running was pretty brutal. Stairs were also very painful.
