Ugh - thought I had a PIN...

A couple of days ago I tried the trick of creating an itinerary and indicating that we are staying offsite to see if it would generate a PIN. Today I got an email from Disney Destinations, and got all excited - the subject said "Shannon, don't be late for this Disney Resort rate!" and the body of the email said "Thanks for starting to plan with My Disney Vacation! Since you are still looking for a cool place to stay, we thought you might enjoy a great rate on a magical Disney Resort..." It had a link to click on for details BUT THE LINK DOESN'T WORK!!!! I tried and kept getting an error message.

So, I called, and explained what happened to the CM, and asked him to check to see if I had a PIN, and he said he didn't see anything. I'm so bummed...I had just convinced myself that I should not spend the money and go in October as I'd like to, but when I got them email of course thought, well, if i can get a great rate maybe we can go...guess not...:sad1:
 
What a bummer. I think that I would keep on trying that link hoping that something might happen.

I got the "Monster Savings" with 40% your resort stay--yeah, lots of luck. I called right away and either nothing is available, or you have to book a king bed and a water view for the discount. Kind of disappointing, especially when if you go to their website there are standard rooms available.
