Some how I am now helping out with some layouts for my kids year book.
It is a collage...I am such a non collage person! I even told her I am a square, rectangle and if I am feeling really wild I may put an oval or circle in my scrap book!

So I took the plunge, cut the silloets. (SP) Of course it is making me nuts that my edges aren't perfect....or if there ends up being a sharp edge since most are slightly curved.... Then to try and put them on the page....So many cute pictures I want them all on the page...UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :earseek: :earseek:

Why will people assume that because we do one craft we'll do "anything that is sort of related"?

Collages don't have to be perfect--that is the best part about them!

Think of it as a big puzzle where you have to get all the pieces in. Start in one area--perhaps the center and work your way out. The kids love looking at them and finding themselves.

I finished both 2 page layouts. Once I started cutting it moved along fairly quickly. Of course the kindergarten class had very few pictures which made it tough to fill two pages. But with lots of moving things around I was able. It actually turned out nice. I was surprised! So I dropped them off. She really liked them and guess what? I got another set to do.... :rotfl: :rotfl:
Finished those last night. I think the kids will be happy with the pages. I have lots and lots of faces in it! And really tried to use a variety of kids!
