Ugh! This dog!!!!!!

Please make sure when you return her that they know the exact reasons. That way the next person will know the full history of it.
That way the dog can get the family and training it needs.

You made the right decision.

Right now, the dog is still here. I phoned the rescue shelter that I got her from and am awaiting a call back. I know the woman is at PetSmart right now but I don't want to "dump" the dog back on her, then.

I will talk to her about it and keep you posted. It's actually a rescue shelter for cats and when I "borrowed" the dog, the rescue owner was relieved and told me that she had to get rid of the dog that week. I felt sad for the dog and offered to try her out. And here I am 3 weeks later, very attached.

Again, these boards are wonderful, many thanks!!!!

Just a thought --- We have a group in our area called "Defenders of Animal's Rights" and "Friends of Animals".... they are known for taking in dogs and finding homes for them -- they are NEVER euthanized. They are great at matching the right pet with the right family situation. Could there be similar groups in your area?
