Ugh! Poison ivy again for the 2nd time this month!

Yuck! I am terribly allergic to poison ivy and just got it for the 2nd time this month. It seems no matter what precaution I take, I still get it. I guess if I didn't hike and camp so much, I wouldn't get it. Oh, the sacrifices we make! Anybody have any innovative quick cures for poison ivy?

Not for avoiding it but a suggestion about re-infections. My DH got poison ivy three times during a 6 week period. On the third trip to the doctor, he said "Are you still wearing the same shoes?
Throw them out!" Turns out my DH was reinfecting himself by wearing shoes that had the oil of the poison ivy plant on them!!

WOW! I never thought of that! My DD just got a second batch as well, and I was wondering how she did it!


Now I have to figure out what pair of shoes it is...
