DH & I would like to book the MYW package in order to take advantage of the meal add on. My question is....Can we do a 10 day park ticket with only an 8 day package? The Web site leads me to believe you can't, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyone have any info on this???? :cat:

I am not sure if I can answer your question, but I know that the meal plan is for the number of nights you are staying on property, i.e., 6 nights, 6 days worth of meals.

I did a package through AAA with tickets, room and the dining plan. It was about $142 less than the WDW website. The insurance was also $10 less p/p. I think the meal plan will work well for us. My son will be 8 years old in November and there is no way I could feed him for less than $10 per day!

Hopefully someone else can answer your question :rockband: :rockband: :rockband: :moped: :3dglasses

I know what you mean about the meal plan, jonsmom57. We think it is a great deal. I think we will have to suppliment it some out of pocket b/c we like a lot of the signature choices, but it will be a big help.

Since we are going to be there for 8 or 9 days and we like to visit the parks on each day, I'd like to get a 10 day park ticket with no expiration if possible.

Susan: I am sure you could do that or perhaps add the park hopper option. Have you figured the cost with that? Depending on the time of the year you travel, you may want to have a "rest day". You could enjoy the resort's pools, etc.

Everyone I have talked to (AAA and CM's) the answer is no. The meal plan comes with packages only and the longest package you can get is for 8 nights with a 7-day ticket. If you want a pakage AND you want to stay more than 8 nights you must do it under 2 seperate reservations. On the up side if you purchase the 7 day w/ pluses then you get 5 pluses that can be used on your extra days.
I personally think this is one thing Disney needs to rethink. I and many others would like a package that includes the 10 day ticket as well.

If the guest selecting Disney's MYW Premium Pagckage will be required to have the lenght of the MYW passes to be equal to the number of nights of the resort stay + one day.

However, if you opt for Disney's MYW package plus dining, will include your base tickets, accomodations at on onsite Disney owned and operated resort hotel and a dining plan that offers a convenient and affordable way to enjoy 2 meals and a snack per person, per package night at more than 100 participating restaurants at WDW, you can have your choice the number of days for your tickets.

Everyone in your room must have the same amount of tickets and the same dining option.

You will not be allowed to get a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining for just 8 days out of the ten you will be there. It automatically comes with the full amount of days you have a package plan. Also, you would save a ton of money doing it this way. I just changed the old reservations that I had (Dream Maker + Silver) to the new Magic Your WayPackage Plus Dining for 8 days. I saved about $550.00 off the dining alone! :cool1: AND btw, you can get a 10 day Magic your way plan. The CSR asked me if I wanted to go that far with the reservations. Unfortunately we are only in Florida from 10/15/05 to 10/22/05. :guilty:
