ugh! No AP discounts for 4/16-22

I know its our break time up here (buffalo) but I was sure hoping! I hate to say it but I guess we will be staying off resort for the first time in a VERY long time!

Easter is April 24. The week before and after are generally peak crowded times at WDW. More often than not those pre-post weeks are blacked out of prmotions and discounts.

Mass. schools have that week off too, but when our week is NOT near Easter there are often deals. Not this year though.

Yeah I mentioned in a different thread that we're all spoiled now because disney has offered discounts during the Easter weeks for the past few years. At least speaking for myself, I sort of expect a deal to be released if the rooms don't fill, which as of right now there is a lot of availability for those 2 weeks.....so I guess you never know!

I was disappointed too I was hoping for something better.

If you're a AAA member though, check with them. Earlier today I reserved POR for 4/21 -- 4/25 for $175 a night through the AAA website, while both Disney and my local AAA office was quoting $224 a night.

The rooms will be filled the week before Easter, it's just a question of when. They might wait til the last few weeks to offer a discount; it will still fill up because so many people want to go. I just can't imagine they can fill up all their $500 a room deluxes without any discounts.

I am still able to move my dining reservations around, there is a LOT of availability for popular times (except for things like Cali Grill, Chef Mickey, CRT, Le Cellier, etc) so I am guessing they have lots of rooms left.

Yes, I agree -- I was on the site playing around with dates and my choice of resorts kept popping up. All room levels available too, from standard to club level. Disney only has a little over a month until Easter vacation to fill the rooms somehow!
