You know my story... Dec 9-16 (Sat-Sat) out of MSP.
So Airtran came available a week or two ago at around $260-ish for the times I liked. Still wanted to wait for a bit, it's only June, see if things went down a bit.
Those of us who are anal like me check the darn airfare at least twice, if not more, per day. Well, today, the lowest fare was $243 on Airtran ( not my times, just the best fare), then it was $279 and I just now checked again and it's $304. WTH?!?!?!
Yeah, I'm going to spend $304 on a flight with a stop when I can spend $20 more and fly SC non-stop.
Like I'm pleased to spend over $300pp period.
The sucky part is, is that there are flights in July going for $217 according to kayak.com. Now I haven't checked those flight times, because I am sure they suck, but I'm still peeved about it.
And no, I didn't buy airfare yet. But I'm beginning to think I better think about it before SC and NWA decide to freak and go higher, too.
